if you open the web console (middle button on the top right next to the floppy disk symbol) and type vdsl status it will tell you the path mode and interleave. It has support for ADSL (not enabled in this current firmware), VDSL and G.Fast so i think can be considered a all in one replacement for those on VDSL but thinking of going G.Fast if they are not on the list for full fibre (yet). An ideal alternative to the popular Vigor 130 Modem router, the Vigor 167 offers all the same features and functionalities with 2 Gigabit LAN network ports and a built-in basic router with DCHP server. You would not normally need to access the WUI of Vigor 167, because it is a pre-configured VDSL2 / ADSL2+ modem that performs full pass-through bridge to Ethernet presentation. It can be then used by a device such as a router to connect directly to the Internet.
The modem also has two Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and, in addition to the power supply unit, the necessary connection cables such as 1x RJ11 to RJ11, 1x TAE to RJ11 and 1x RJ11 to RJ45 are enclosed with the device. It should also be noted that with regard to ADSL, both the variants Annex-A and Annex-B are combined in one device for the first time, which also further increases the possibilities for using the modem. Something that caught my eye is there seems to be 2 G.Fast options, since i don't know what's what I've left as default... The Vigor167 comes with a new chipset and supports Annex-A and Annex-B in one device for the first time. All DSL connection cables for various regions are already included in the scope of delivery. For example TAE-F-to-RJ11 cable, RJ11-to-RJ11 cable, RJ11-to-RJ45 cable.
