During my testing with navigation running and also planning routes, it was four and a half hours before I got a low battery warning. Only after six hours and forty minutes did it shut down entirely. Audio files can then be played via your connected helmet or headset. This computer has nine USB ports that accept the Garmin cable, the Zumo has two MTP modes, I tried all three modes in all nine ports (getting desperate) I did discover the difference MTP mode makes in start-up when the cable is connected, but still could not see the XT in MM. During the support case chat, I mentioned that the replacement of the cable is not the end of the story for me. I am refering to the elephant in the room: the installation cost!

These maps can be updated FREE for the life of the product, when you register your Garmin zumo XT2 with Garmin UK. But there is much more up the Garmin’s sleeve.
