Location: Underneath the stairs leading up to the Botanical Garden; there's a destructible wall on the east side.

Interview Tapes: Audio tape reels containing patient interviews and doctor's notes can be found in many locations, giving insight into some of the major characters in the game. Penelope Young (voiced by Cree Summer) - Dr. Young is one of the chief psychiatrists at Arkham. She is also working on Arkham's newly developed Titan project. She is killed by a trap the Joker set in the warden's office. Selective detonation of Explosive Gel - Zoom in on a specific Gel patch to detonate only that specific one. Solution: From the spot where the cages landed, look west and up to see a skeleton. Grapple to a platform closer to it (like the one in the picture), zoom in and Scan. The protective case measures approximately: 8.15”W x 7.75”H x 3.25”D (W 20.7 cm x H 19.7 cm x D 8.3 cm) and can be easily hung on the wall.Location: After the first flight of stairs to the Botanical Gardens, after the second visit to the Batcave.

The game's plot is loosely based on the 1989 graphic novel Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth. It features a similar plot of Batman being trapped in the asylum and surrounded by his enemies, among other references: Certain gadgets and their buyable upgrades are well suited to the Predator style. The "Sonic Batarang" can interact with the alarm collars of goons to either attract or disable them. The Explosive Gel can be used to set traps that are detonated either by remote control or (with an upgrade) an enemy's proximity. Quincy Sharp (voiced by Tom Kane) - Sharp has been the warden of Arkham for the last three years. He is captured by Harley Quinn early on in the game, forcing Batman to rescue him. Location: From Riddle #4 - Botanical Gardens jump north to a ledge you can shimmy on and head left. Pull yourself up and Scan the Chronicle inside this little nook.Whenever the player defeats a boss, he/she is unable to reenter the places where said bosses are fought, save for the Scarecrow boss fights.

Location: In a cell behind iron bars. Need to blow up a breakable wall on the second floor and drop down. Location: After the Titan fight, go into the area he came out from and pull down a high breakable wall. The Chronicle is at the end of the cubicle. Who's the toe joint for? His legs aren't articulated enough to get him into a position that's dynamic enough to use them, so is it so you can pose him doing pushups?Location: While escaping the Intensive Treatment area after the elevator gets trashed, near the end of the climb (before the fight with the thugs). It'll be right in front of you and an on-screen prompt will appear (Hold Scan). Can't miss it. Riddler Maps: Each location contains one map which reveals the approximate placement of all the other challenge items by placing floating question marks on the in-game map. Location: On a small shelf on wheels up the stairs, on the second floor. The panel to overload is to you immediate left as you enter the room. Location: Behind a breakable wall. From the area where you fought the two Titans, pull down the wall and Line Launch into the newly opened area.

Batcave - Arkham Mansion - Botanical Gardens - Intensive Treatment Center - Medical Facility - Old Sewer - Penitentiary Solution: Scan the tommy gun in the glass display on the north wall, on the second floor. Need to grapple up.Blow up the breakable floor around this area on the second floor. Enter Detective Mode and face north. The top part is on the "wall" that was previously covered by the breakable floor; the dot is on the ground on the floor below. Location: From the entrance to the area (ground level, south side), make a right and climb into a sort of hollow pillar that will be on your left. Jump across to a walkway and turn right (east). Jump to a second walkway, turn around the corner, and jump the gap twice. From the aqueduct mentioned in Riddler Trophy #7 - Caves, go up a second collapsed pillar. When you reach the platform at the end, notice a ledge you can shimmy on to your left. Do so around the corner and pull yourself up twice. The game begins with Batman escorting the Joker in the Batmobile to Arkham Asylum after catching him at Gotham City Hall. Due to Joker's taunts to his henchmen, it's possible that around this time in the Arkhamverse, many people wrongly concluded that Batman could be a vampire, since he was never seen at day time.
