Different versions of Boggle have varying distributions of letters. For example, a more modern version in the UK has easier letters, such as only one K, but an older version (with a yellow box, from 1986) has two Ks and a generally more awkward letter distribution. There should be at least two players to start. However, there is no upper limit to this game; you can play with as many players as you want. Can we write two synonyms in Boggle? You cannot use any letter more than once, and the consecutive letters of your words must be adjacent to each other horizontally, vertically, or even diagonally.When the timer starts, each player searches the assortment of letters for words of four letters or more. (BTW, my hands now spell definitely as “def.” by default as it’s one of those that I’ve never been able to get the spelling down on.) Anyway, a P will def. have an I on it. My Y cubes alway have Is and Rs. Yet, for the “Classic” and “New” sets, even these correlations are different. For instance, while the “Classic” set a D cube has a 75% chance of having an N and a 50% chance of having an O, the “New” set has no D cube with an N or an O! The “Classic” Ys are only 33% likely to have an I or an R, and the “New” set is 33% I, 67% R. You are allowed to write any word from the English Dictionary. You can use any form of tense. Besides, you are also allowed to write words within another word. For example, you can write ‘water’ and ‘ate.’ They will be counted as two different words. Any player can challenge another player’s submitted words, just like challenging a word in Scrabble. You may choose to use whatever dictionary you’d like to decide if a word is valid. The official Scrabble dictionary is a general standard to follow. Remove invalid words from each player’s list. So I did what any sane human would do. I turned to Google. And I found that someone else had already done the work.
