About this deal

I guess my most major problem with Phillip was that he let life happen to him, and refused to do anything to change it, and, in fact, blamed other people for his douchiness. Wife suicidal? Oh well he did everything he could and stopped caring years ago, whatevs. Doesn't know how to act around his children? Obvs. avoid them and mope about it instead of doing something. Adebanjo, Luwa (February 25, 2021). "The Problem With Bridgerton And *that* Scene". Cinemania. Archived from the original on April 1, 2022 . Retrieved April 1, 2022. Indeed I am a botanist, trained at Cambridge, although I am not currently connected with any university or scientific board. I conduct experiments here at Romney Hall, in my own greenhouse. Anyway, this is one star and almost all of that is Phillip. Eloise's character issues would have dragged a normal story down a star, but Phillip already tanked this one so deep there was no going deeper.

Though the story is mainly about Hyacinth’s search, you also get a peek into Hyacinth and Gareth’s wonderfully happy marriage. He looked up and out the freshly washed glass. A movement across the field caught his eye. A flash of red. Eloise thought about all of the marriage proposals she’d refused over the years. How many had there been? At least six. Now she couldn’t even remember why she’d refused some of them. No reason, really, except that they weren’t… Phillip Crane turned his face to the sun, closing his eyes as he let the warmth spread over his skin. “It’s perfect,” he murmured. “Or it would be, if it weren’t so bloody cold.”I was sad with the end of Bridgertons series because it is one of the best series I've ever read. And with amazing, wonderful stories in it. With this book, I am once again, fill with happiness! I've missed them so much!

I've already listened to most of the 2nd epilogues because the audiobooks of the Bridgerton series that I've listened to have always included them. And since I haven't had the chance to listen to the entire series yet, I didn't think the epilogues that I haven't heard would mean anything to me. Maybe… Maybe… He closed his eyes and sighed. Maybe he should stop thinking quite so much and simply try his best and be happy with that. Ah, but it is a sort of friendship, isn’t it? I confess to a certain measure of isolation here in the country, and if one cannot have a smiling face across one’s breakfast table, then one might at least have an amiable letter, don’t you think? In 2000, Julia Quinn released her novel “The Duke and I," a Regency romance that focused on the relationship between Simon Basset, a young duke, and Daphne, the eldest daughter of an illustrious London family. For this story, all I can say is that what happened to Lucy makes Gregory's and my hair turn gray in fast pace. He looked down at his glass of whiskey, which was, quite inexplicably, empty. He must have drunk the damned thing, and yet he had no memory of doing so. He didn’t feel woozy, at least not as woozy as he should have been. Or even as woozy as he wanted to be. Ahora, lo que sí rescato un montón de este libro es que, al final, después de todos estos segundos epílogos, Julia Quinn incluyó una novella corta sobre Violet Bridgerton. ¡Y me encantó leerla! Siento que, a lo largo de toda la saga, había visto a Violet sencillamente como la mamá loca que lo único que quería era que sus hijos se casaran y como la señora que los acosaba constantemente con ese tema; sin embargo, en estas páginas conocemos a una Violet mucho más joven, a una Violet que se enamora a primera vista de quien será su futuro esposo, a una Violet que disfruta de su día de bodas como la más feliz… y una Violet que queda rota cuando el amor de su vida muere joven y por culpa de una miserable abeja. Anthony, and his talk with his younger sister really pulled on my heart strings. I will end with this quote:

I was also slightly saddened not to see the interaction between Eloise & Hyacinth from the second epilogue of the previous book + the reaction to the reveal therein ... but I guess that was possibly written after this books publication 🤔 so 🤷‍♀️ Red. Phillip smiled to himself as he shook his head. It must be Marina.Red was her favorite color, something that he’d always found odd. Anyone who spent any time with her would have surely thought she’d prefer something darker, more somber. Parkerton, Michelle (January 29, 2021). "Are We Experiencing a Bridgerton Book Shortage?". Parade: Entertainment, Recipes, Health, Life, Holidays . Retrieved May 20, 2022. He lifted the glass to his lips, letting the final drops slide into his mouth. The worst part was definitely his children. He’d told them he wouldn’t ever leave them, and he hadn’t –he wouldn’t– but his simple presence wasn’t enough. They needed more. They needed someone who knew how to be a parent, who knew how to speak to them and understand them and get them to mind and behave. Eloise closed her eyes, picturing the delicate pink petals. It was hard to imagine a man handling such a fragile bloom. Her four brothers were all big, strong men, with broad shoulders and large hands that would surely mangle the poor thing in a heartbeat.

She told herself that this did not mean she had to marry Sir Phillip; she was merely investigating what seemed like it might be an excellent possibility. If they did not suit, they would not have to marry; she’d made no promises to him, after all.
