About this deal

I dont like to talk about performance and all that because its very subjective, but for me i would say very good about 8 hours but performs for like 1-2 hours then more close to the skin but it is case in most of designer fragrances which I like .I dont wanna be that "cologne guy" and choke everyone in a room and have everyone know that iam wearing cologne:)

All in all, this has been brilliantly executed at the hands of master perfumer Alberto Morillas and one he should be very proud of.In the mid the rum notes starts to fade away but the other notes persist for some time. In the end the florals disappear along with the leather and you are left with soft sweetness reminiscent of balmy vanilla that you get with benzoin and some dry subtle Tonka sweetness. The tonka from the base reminds me of artificial vanilla - like a vanilla aroma without creamyness or sweetness. I'm missing a bit of sandalwood in here to make it a creamier, more based vanilla. The guaiac wood and benzoin create an incensey, a bit of catholic church incense-like vibe with dry woodyness and resins.

sprays = Can get kinda annoying because of the strong notes it has. Specially if it's hot / you are in a closed space. Scent Opening: 10.0 (ravishing tobacco and rum with sweet and dark sower seasoning of tuberose and leather) Compliments: 9.0 (very good, but not the best; men rate its compliment-grabbing ability with a 10 and women with an 8; dark spicy fragrances always have a bigger compliment effect on men than on women)Rum and tobacco notes are different in their characteristics. A coolness with the harshness of tobacco. But the ratio is so perfect that tobacco never overtakes Rum. And the warmth in winter that you need is provided by the spices. I feel a mix of coriander and Nutmeg alongside star anise, but it is not mentioned which spices notes are actually used. I suspect that your perspective will depend on where you're coming from in your perfume journey. I own a bottle of this; I like it. But it's quite dainty, and not very exciting.

This is accompanied by a light, delicate but masculine floral note. Some people are calling iris; maybe, but if this is iris then Demachy's Dior masterpieces are not. Iris can manifest as powder - maybe that's the link. The nose behind it? It's one of the works I prefer from Alberto Morillas but I always think of it as a Nathalie Lorson creation. I wonder why? TL;DR: a powder bomb that I expected to like more. It also has floral dimensions. I don't think it's like Spicebomb at all; nor do I detect leather. The scent it most reminds me of is Youth Dew (which I wear as a man). Edit 2: Ended up as a good performer (around 8h), also noticeable but not loud, specially if you spray on clothes. Would not recommend more than 3 sprays, specially for closed spaces. Leather + spices + rum + tobacco turns annoying when it's too much.

Unfortunately the way this fragrance is composed makes the scents incredibly linear and I think that’s why people lose the scent profile fairly early with this formulation. For a fragrance with this sort of scent profile, the scent and sillage SHOULD be much stronger than it provides. Spicebomb Extreme lasts all day on me. I get 3 solid hours out of this before it fades around the 5-6 hour mark. This perfume is not for compliments. You should not wear it everywhere. A perfume for dark, chilly winter nights and shines with dark clothes. This fragrance is sugary woody and spicy. The sugar ratio is in an aromatic vanilla sweetness. It resembles a cherry sorbet. Although not in it, it emits an odor similar to "cayenne pepper" and ground pepper. I think this tone is paprika spice. If I am outside in the evening for any occasion then there is a need for re-application. For this purpose, I always carry a refillable travel perfume atomizer with me. You will be needing one if you develop a love for this perfume.

That being said, I don't dislike the fragrance at all… but I certainly can't recommend it; especially for the public that buys the most, who are newbies looking for a fragrance for romantic dates. This perfume is for Introvert people. It is themed around the desire which remains inside and does not explode. But then being the evening scent, I don’t need the perfume for that long also. Evening and Nightwear perfume, do not need to go for more than 4 hours. Great for business professionals or more rugged individuals who don’t want something too fresh and sporty, yet enjoy more traditional scents, maybe even classic fougere’s but want something more modern, sexy and alluring. This is better suited for the colder months. Perfect for fall and winter, day and night. Edit: Bought it because it was on sale. No regrets. Also, the bottle is beautiful, kind of a ceramic-like touch to it. Also the diffuser seems better? Batch from 2022 October. Performance seems its gonna be mid/long, sillage is just moderate. However, to my disappointment, this phase is very short-lived. Maybe 20 minutes max before it settles down and sweet tobacco and spices start to overtake the Booziness.
