Episode 2622 from October 1976 – David accuses Hugh of waging a campaign to oust him from the motel in favour of Anthony, Hughs son. Stan finds his skills in demand, but is he prepared to put up his house as collateral in a business venture? MIH then sold the motel toTommy Lancaster ( Terence Rigby) and his family-run Red Ox business in 1987, transforming it into a luxury hotel that was first named The Crossroads Country Hotel, then, The Kings Oak Country Hotel.
