There are two options for the EasiStore range. You can either get the electric corded version, which is available across the range of blade sizes, from 30 centimetres to 38 centimetres. Or the cordless versions, which applies to the smaller 300R and 340R models. The 300R has a series of spacers that the operator must insert or remove from between the blade and the motor, to change the cutting height. And this also limits the 300R’s height choices to 3, with 20mm between each. Again giving you a choice of the same lowest and highest cutting heights from 20mm to 60mm. Cutting Diameter You can choose from three lifting-blade widths. The entry-level 300R has a 30-centimetre blade, meaning a cutting area of 0.28m² with each rotation. The 340R has a 34-centimetre blade, which gives the mower a 29% increase in cutting area than the 300R. Grass Box - A 30 litre grass box provides a large amount of storage for trimmings. It can be removed and emptied as and when required. Designed for the smaller garden, the Flymo EasiStore 300R is a compact 30cm (12") electric rotary lawn mower powered by a 1200W motor. The mower is equipped with an integrated rear roller to create a neat, striped finish to your lawn.

All EasiStore electric corded lawn mowers can vary in cutting height, from 20mm up to 60mm. Both the 340R and the 380R have a central height adjustment lever, which changes the height by 10mm at a time. The handlebar also has a built-in cable tidy, allowing you to keep the cable neat and untwisted, ready for the next time you lay it out. I was pleasantly surprised that the instruction manual was A4 in size. Most manuals are A5 and can be harder to read, especially when it comes to viewing the pictures. Not only were the images bigger than most other lawnmower manuals, but they were also very clear. One step was described per image, which was a welcome factor.Manoeuvrability / Usability - The mower is lightweight and features a long 10 metre power cable for manoeuvrability. It also has dual lever handles so that you can operate it with either hand, which is perfect for households with left and right handers. Though the EasiStore is simple, there are some clever additions to make this mower more compact than other machines of a similar size.

In terms of performance, the Flymo EasiMow 300R had no trouble trimming a small area of grass that had low-to-medium growth. There are 3 cutting heights available and I used the highest setting of 60 mm. The EasiStore sets a good example as a model for all-electric mowers on the market. You rarely see an electric mower of this size and price with such a feature as a roller, but one possible reason is the absence of mulching. Assembling the Flymo EasiMow 300R was easy enough. There are only a few parts that need to be put together. First, you need to install both handles before clipping the grass box together – which came in three separate parts.
