I have been a big fan of Freemax for full-on high-wattage DL cloud vaping, but recently I am experiencing some superb MTL vapes such as the Galex Nano and the Maxpod. I’m hoping they exploit these new GX coils in other devices as they are some of the best MTL coils I’ve experienced. The Galex Nano pod kit comes in 5 different colors and is constructed out of zinc alloy and PCTG making this very lightweight and well made with the added advantage of being very simple and straight-forward to use. The LED lighting, which I touched on a little in the design section, is pretty neat. By default, it lights up in a multicolor fashion each time that you take a draw, but you can change it to breathe through solid colors, or even turn the light off completely if it’s not to your liking. To cycle through the different lighting modes, press the fire button twice. You can also press and hold the fire button to turn off the lighting completely.

This is a fun little kit to own, and putting it up alongside the other light-up devices I own by Freemax I have my own mini disco-tec LOL. Both offer a long-lasting experience, which you can easily refill at least 10 times as promised by Freemax.I am entering my 2nd week with this coil, only now am I starting to experience a slight drop of flavour. Compatible with GX Mesh coil series & includes a 0.8ohm GX Mesh coil and 1.0ohm GX Mesh coil (pre-installed) If you are using external batteries we always recommend that you charge them using an external battery charger. Not only do they provide a more balanced charge they help to prolong the life of the battery. If you are charging your batteries inside the device it can lead to significant wear and tear on the micro USB port.

Freemax have implemented their “Full Spectrum Vaping” lighting effects which we’re seeing on more and more of their later releases, including the Galex Pod kit. These effects can be switched on or off via the control button and shine through a large octagon shaped transparent smoked screen on the front of the Galex Nano casing. You will see printed on the screen very faintly “Galex Nano”, also you are able to see the main board. For reference, I monitored the length of time the display took to change between each of the colors and then achieve its full charge: Great little pod system. Delivers a great cloud and throat hit. Fancy lights if your into that type of thing. The only "minor" con is getting the drip cover off. But, that could be just me lolI did manage to remove the cap however, I did this by placing the pod into the Galex device and pushing on the mouthpiece until the cap snapped off! By the time I completed writing this review, I was up to around 25 fills with the 1.0 ohm coil and it’s still working well.

The Led lights add a modern feel to a conventional pod kit, while it’s a bit fiddly to change the light modes its great fun to play with! While this sample kit didn’t include a *user manual, it does come with a spare coil and a Type C charge cable. Empty the Pod: Remove any remaining e-liquid from the pod. Dispose of it according to local regulations.The Galex Nano offers a unique visual experience with its Full Spectrum Vaping feature. You can choose from three modes: turn off, unicolor, or multicolor, allowing you to customize the LED lights to match your style. As you connect the charging cable, the display screen will illuminate and slowly cycle on and off. The display will initially cycle red in color and as the charge and charging time increases, the display will change color from red to blue and then to green. The specification of the color change is: Surprisingly I didn’t really notice any difference in vaping time when I had the full spectrum lighting effects on.
