It is, however, missing information on several key areas of Italy, such as Sicily, Puglia, Basilicata, Sardinia, Piedmont, and Matera. As such, it may not be ideal if you’re planning a trip around the whole of Italy or any of the aforementioned destinations. You will see vastly fewer tourists over here. It is filled with amazing little medieval streets full of artisan shops, non-touristy eateries and glorious places to stop for an aperitivo.

But! There is so much good history in here that I really started getting more of a comprehensive understanding of ancient Roman history. This was my favorite part!
