First off, my kids and I loved this game. There were arguments about who was going to do which case, there were fights about who was going first…and sometimes the kids argued as well. 😀 Absolutely. I’ve played Full House with my gaming groups, my wife, with friends after a dinner party, and solo. Everyone loves a good mystery and looking around the magnificent map for 15 minutes with friends to find out whodunit just works. The map contains 15+ cases to complete, all hidden and trailing around the city. MicroMacro: Crime City – Full House is more of the same, but with a brand new district of the city! The game works as both an expansion to the original, and as a separate experience. Micro Macro Crime City is, dare I say it, one of the best things I own. It takes pride of place on my board game shelf, I have been playing it non-stop since I received it as a Christmas present in 2021, and it’s the first game I whip out when friends come round for board game night. Sadly, several months later I have now completed the game. The rest of 2022 is looking bleak and crimeless and I’m already wondering what I’ll do with my life post-Micro Macro. Ez a játék valami olyan hangulatot hozott a társasjáték világba, ami már nagyon hiányzott. A hatalmas térképen bármit megtalálni és bármilyen cselekményre rájönni hatalmas sikerélmény, amit kis odafigyeléssel nagyon jól adagol a játék és mégsem érződik könnyűnek... vagyis inkább egyenletesen nehezedik. A grafikák kellően aranyosak, de mégsem túlzottan. Néhány bűntény már-már durva ehhez a rajzfilmes hangulathoz. A szabály kb két mondat. Előkészülni kb egy perc. Sokszor van az, hogy nem játszunk egy bizonyos játékkal, mert már előkészíteni is sok időt vesz igénybe. Itt ahogy előveszed, a második percben már játszol is. Nem csoda, hogy megnyerte a leginnovatívabb játék díját. Teljesen megérdemelte. The game plays just as well, with some new added twists and extras which many board-gamers are finding extremely useful! One addition in Full House which isn’t present in the original game is the use of symbols to determine the type of content in each case. This can be used to see if it is suitable for younger players. In MicroMacro: Crime City players solve cases by locating clues on an intricately detailed map of a fictional city. But it’s not just buildings you’ll find on this map, no; it’s people too! The illustrators Daniel Goll, Tobias Jochinke, and Johannes Sich have captured an entire city at its best, and worst. The map is so epic in its scale and scope that it’s almost bigger than an 8 year old. Nagyon jópofa játék, egy hatalmas térképen kell felderítenünk a bűneseteket. Egy kicsit furcsa, hogy a helyszínek más-más időpillanatot takarnak, de a feladat szempontjából teljesen jó. Itt van egy kis online demo aki ki szeretné próbálni. Fel kell göngyölíteni egy bűnesetet, hogy ki miért követte el bűncselekményt, hova rejtette a fegyvert, hol van most, stb... Ami még kifejezetten tetszik, hogy vannak becsapós részek is, amik simán rosz nyomra visznek, pedig az egyértelműen helyes megoldás is ott volt a képeken, csak ugye volt egy hibás előfeltételezésünk, ami teljesen félre vitte a nyomozást :DYou’ll start off by unfolding the city map and ensuring there’s plenty of space and lighting. You need to peek in windows and make guesses as to where someone might have gone or from where they might have started. You can play the cases on "advanced" mode by looking only at the initial situation — a man was found shot in the parking lot of the hardware store — then trying to unravel the case without looking at the question cards. Look for clues, retrace their possible steps, and only when you think you know what happened will you look at the other case cards, trying to answer all of them as you retell the story of the crime. This is a far more difficult way to play! You play the role of consulting detective aiding a beleagured and bemused Police Department struggling with 16 cases varying from the trivial to the heinous. These cases are presented in a number of steps on cards. These vary in length from 5 steps for the introductory cases up to 11 steps for the most complex. After a summary description of the case is read out you are asked to locate specific scenes or persons on the panoramic cityscape. When you think you have found the scene requested flip the card to see the correct answer. These are grid referenced to the map for ease of location. The protaganists of each case will be shown many times on the map showing their progress in time as well as space. Each step successfully located will lead on to the next until you reach the successful denouemnet.
