About this deal

As a teenager Mike got caught up in the opioid epidemic that swept America. For nearly 10 years he struggled with drug addiction and many other issues. He eventually had no one left to believe in him except his mom. While all his friends were starting lives of their own, getting married, having kids, exceeding in life, Mike was basically at the lowest point he could go, living on the streets, with little to no money at the end of a very dark tunnel with a small light at the end of it. The story is very exciting and is told with many remarkable stories that leave you wondering after how he made it out of all these situations alive. It is always easy to judge those who find their way living this path. In reading this first hand account, I find myself understanding the situation better.

Robert Englund’s book Hollywood Monster, a number of Corey Taylor books, Slash’s autobiography and The Motley Crue book The Dirt have been the only books in existence to ever grab my attention. Before we delve more into your story, can you tell us when the turning point was for you, when you realized things had to change?

Overall

Books and tales inspire me in my own life to keep chasing dreams. Now it seems I have another book to add to that list. Along with having millions of online followers, you’re also co-host of the number-one podcast in the world, Impaulsive. How does it feel to have the ability to reach millions of people to share your story? Longkumer, Tekato. "Mike Majlak opens up about his breakup with Lana Rhoades". Eastern Mirror . Retrieved 28 March 2022.

In this article, we are going to talk about the books that the social media star has written in his career. Takes a severe plummet in quality around the final third / quarter. The part documenting the post-rehab years. Not exactly because of that but I understand it’s harder to make stories of anxiety in recovery as interesting as guns and class A’s. But the narrative tried too hard to counter that, resulting in cliche and melodrama. I’m sure I don’t need to explain why ending a chapter: “ I had no idea what was in store...” (yes including the ellipsis) makes me less interested to find out, not more. The prose towards the beginning , while not exactly sophisticated , could have an intelligent flourish, so it feels like the whole thing ran out of steam. While I can't call a book on such a difficult subject entertaining, Mike does a great job of detailing his slow and painful descent into the hell of drug addiction. Mike Majlak was a seventeen-year-old from a loving, middle-class family in Milford, Connecticut, when he got caught up in the opioid epidemic that swept the nation. For close to a decade thereafter, his life was a wasteland of darkness and despair.

Mike Majlak's profile

Before deciding to focus on social media, he worked as a sales representative for a pharmaceutical firm for a while after graduation. The word affluenza comes to mind. It is like how you would sympathize with a fraud victim, until their victimization leads them to begin stealing wages from their own workers. The sympathy and understanding ENDS THERE. Personal struggles, overcoming personal demons and getting through the darkest of times to not only come out the other side alive but come out the other side actively improving your life far beyond what you can have ever imagined. Now that’s a story! Thisis a very powerful, inspirationalstory very inspirational because he begins with high school life, the beginning of his addiction, its effects on his life, and ends with his story today. After getting the book, I could not stop reading it. In fact, I finished it in an entire day because of his compelling story. It is compelling and attention-grabbing, and I would read this again. It is one of the best books I've ever read.
