About this deal

This is a great starter grill for those who are new to the benefits of health grills, or usually cook for one or two. It’s fantastically compact, taking up barely any space on a worktop, and even less when stored vertically in a cupboard – around the same as a chunky recipe book. There’s a choice of two grilling positions: propped up so the fat can run off into the neat drip tray at the front, or flat for paninis and less fatty foods. There’s only one temperature but it should suffice for most foods, and we used it for sausages, mushrooms and toasting a flatbread without issue. So if you want an awesome grill with multi-functionality, this is the one! I personally have an Evolve Grill and I love it.

Each grill was inspected and judged for its build quality, and those with uncomfortable edges, loose parts or fiddly buttons were penalised. One of the benefits of a George Foreman grill is that its design encourages fat and grease to run off the food you’re cooking and collect in a drip tray beneath the grill for healthier eating. Some models allow you to adjust the angle of the bottom plate, so you can control how much fat runs off your food. It’s an extremely handy feature if you want to reduce the amount of fat in your diet. Removable plates

Detachable plates are a must if you want to avoid frustration when cleaning your electric grill. Burned-on fat needs a sponge and soapy water, but if you can't detach the cooking plates you won't be able to do much more than wipe it down with a damp cloth. When grilling, juices run covertly via two holes on the plate into a hidden chamber instead of the typical drip tray found on a regular George Foreman grill.

Whether you are looking to eat a little healthier or just enjoy a good grilled steak, an indoor electric grill can be a great investment. And when it comes to electric grills, the George Foreman grill is the brand everyone knows. The food you like to cook will also have an impact. If you’re only planning to use it for meat, a smaller model might be best, whereas entire meals cooked on the grill will need a larger capacity to prevent food having to be grilled in batches. Some models fold out flat to double the grilling area, such as the 26250 Flexe Grill below.

Many basic George Foreman grills heat to a single temperature, so you’re unable to control how hot the grill gets. But some models have variable heat controls that allow you to adjust the temperature.

Quick Summary:

With so many George Foreman grills to choose from, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a model that suits your grilling needs. The George Foreman 15-Serving Indoor/Outdoor Grill is an ideal option if you’re looking for a grill that you can use both inside and outside your home. It has a 240 square-inch round grilling surface that fits up to 15 burgers, so you can easily cook for a crowd on a patio, or in your kitchen. In addition, I like the accurate digital temperature and timing settings that let you cook a range of dishes at temperatures between 300 and 500 degrees for up to 90 minutes. Like all of the latest George Foreman models, this grill has a wide cooking surface slanted to drain oil from foods whether you want to grill indoors or outside.

Key specs – Size: 31.5 x 32.5 x 14cm (WDH); Plates: Fixed; Variable temperature: No; Dishwasher-safe parts: Drip tray only A top lid that gently rests on but doesn’t squash food is desirable if you want to cook more delicate food such as halloumi and vegetables. All too often in our tests we found that grills with heavy lids squashed the life out of the food we cooked. George Foreman grills have expanded into four categories: Basic Grills, Advanced Grills, Premium Grills, and Indoor/Outdoor Grills. Basic grills tend to be a little smaller, with sizes ranging from 2-9 servings. Advanced grills are similar in size to the Basic grills, but the grill plates are removable for easier cleaning either in the sink or dishwasher. The grill should offer as much heat at the edges of the plates as it does at the centre. We cut burgers open to see whether they have all been cooked evenly after sitting on different spots of the plate. Unwanted Food or Drink Products - Once supply conditions are broken, there are a number of factors outside of our control that can affect the quality of a product. Therefore perishable goods such as food and drink cannot be returned.

This electric grill delivers excellent results for much less money than other models while still functioning as a competent grill or panini press. Old school health grills could only cook at one temperature, but most newer models have adjustable dials with low, medium and high heat options or digital controls. This allows you to grill food more precisely, which is good for cooking delicate items such as fish, for example, where you want to avoid any dreaded dryness. That’s why I’ve researched the grills available and compiled this buyer’s guide to help you find the one that’s best for you. Some George Foreman grills feature removable plates, which makes them much easier to clean. Instead of lugging the entire grill to your sink, you can just remove the plates and hand wash them with soapy water. Additional grill plates
