Impressive device I am not an avid mobile technology user a can base my opinion purely on subjective factors which are how it resonates with and how well it performs the tasks I need it to perform. So far I am impressed. The design is pretty classic for a smartphone these days, it is looks well made, sturdy and has large, crisp display. The processor ensures that even with a bunch of various apps, it works fast and smooth. Need to get to a slightly different Android UI interface but it is matter of time. Battery life is better than average but again - subject to personal use. At least what I love is a fast charging which ensures that even a short charging cycle with give enough juice to your phone. Camera is definitely one to brag about as it is exceptional. Such a quality, vivid colours, crisp picture and plenty of modes to chose from. Battery life is brilliant, I get a full day of constant usage (and I mean *constant*). It comes with a fast charger which charged the phone fully in just over half an hour. The main camera is top left in this view, with the ultra-wideangle camera below. The Reno 8 Pro initially seems to hold up well against the Find X5, X5 Pro and OnePlus 10T in the 3D graphics tests too, with identical 60fps scores for each in the on-screen portion of the GFXBench Manhattan 3 benchmark. Purely in terms of specification, the Reno8 Pro’s camera setup is a step down from the Find X5 series. The firm’s marketing materials proudly proclaim that it employs ‘Dual Sony Flagship Sensors’, but this refers to the 50MP sensor used for the main camera, and the 32MP unit for the front-facing selfie camera.

Oppo says this is its fastest charger yet, and is capable of taking the 4,500mAh battery from empty to 50% in just 11 minutes, and to full in a mere 33 minutes according to my tests. Oppo Reno 8 Pro review: Cameras

At the base of the device, you’ll find the SIM tray and the USB-C port. OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G: Camera system The digital zoom isn’t half bad, either. This 3x crop of a Parisian metro sign retained enough detail to make out the scuffs in the paintwork, even if the sky is a little muted. Data obtained from OPPO Labs. Compared with the conventional RGGB solution, the new generation RGBW Rheinland through testing conducted in laboratory conditions. In the standard Video mode, 4K recording is available using the main camera, again with a touch button for 2x digital zoom. However, engaging the ultra-wide camera switches down to Full HD resolution, as does enabling the Ultra Steady setting that provides enhanced electronic stabilisation. Oppo has also included a more advanced Film mode in the camera app, which provides manual control of exposure and records in a widescreen 20:9 aspect ratio. But curiously, this is only at 2400×1080 resolution, and not 4K. OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G: Angle of view comparison The off-screen results, recorded by the orange bar, are more useful, and here the differences start to show. The Reno 8 Pro, to its credit, does pull slightly ahead of the Find X5, but the OnePlus 10T and Find X5 Pro leave both in the dust here, with gains of nearly 90% apiece. Oppo Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro are popular premium mid-range smartphones, launched globally. Like its predecessors, they come with good-looking designs with MediaTek chipsets inside.
