About this deal

That's a good question. I don't know is the short honest answer, but I can tell you the average cholesterol level of our Pure Unflavoured organic whey protein is 0.15%, which I believe is very low. Whether the calories from the protein, fat and other nutritional content will contribute significantly to your body's cholesterol is something I'm not sure of unfortunately.

People who are active and short on time: If you are active and do not have time to fully recover with whole food sources or if you're an athlete with two events or workouts per day, a whey protein powder may help you reach your protein needs. Whey is particularly high in leucine, an amino acid that is critical for building muscle. However, casein, another protein found in milk, digests more slowly and may help prevent muscle breakdown. Consuming the two together, such as by drinking milk, may be more beneficial than whey protein alone. Supplements that are third-party tested are sent to a lab, where they are tested to ensure that they contain what they say they contain and are not contaminated with specific high-risk, common contaminants. However, it’s important to note: Informed Choice Trusted by Sport is a program that certifies that a product has been tested at least on a monthly basis for substances banned by LGC, a globally recognized sports doping control and supplement testing lab.Garden of Life Organic Whey protein is a USDA Organic and non-GMO certified protein powder from grass fed and hormone free cows. This protein powder contains whey protein concentrate, which tends to be more affordable than whey isolate. If you are a plant-based eater, you might be interested in Natreve’s Mooless Animal Free Whey Protein Powder. This whey protein powder is made completely without animals—instead, they rely on a fermentation process using a copy of DNA corresponding to cow’s milk protein. The resulting product is molecularly identical to whey protein. As an added bonus, Natreve states that compared to conventional whey protein powder, this powder involves less water consumption, energy use, and greenhouse gas emissions. Can you please tell me if it's A1 or A2 milk as I understand that it can have allergy implications. Superior Cattle Selection: Ireland employs a mix of Friesian and Jersey crossbreeds, ensuring the finest grass-fed dairy cattle for optimal results.

Hi, My cholesterol level is a bit high ( LDL 153mg\dl) although my weight is normal and body fat is low. Will taking two scoops after workouts affect it negatively? I m working out 4 times a week and my workout plan is quite heavy, with a lot of weight lifting. My diet plan is is low on fat and sugar. Many thanks Thank you for the question. Using less liquid that can help avoid the foaming, and/or blending for a shorter period of time. If using a blender instead of a hand shaker, it really doesn't need to be blended for long at all, just a few seconds is often long enough, depending on how powerful the blender is. If you have a handheld milk frother, that is quite a good alternative method of mixing it up without getting a lot of froth going on too. I hope that helps :-) However, in several states celebrated for their grass-fed dairy offerings, like California and Wisconsin, the soil composition leans heavily towards acidity, especially following intense rainfall. To counteract this acidification and restore soil balance, farmers are compelled to manually introduce alkaline substances to the land. Unfortunately, this practice can result in severe and adverse consequences.

Questions & Answers

Hi Raj, as a general rule you can use the following simple formula to work out how many grams you need. Take your weight in stone, convert this to lbs (http://www.convertunits.com/from/Stone/to/Lbs). You then multiply your lbs weight by .25 and that equals how many grams of protein you need. E.g. I'm 140lbs, so 140 x .25 = 35. Therefore I need 35 grams of protein post-workout. There are 18.4 grams of protein per scoop, so a pair of kitchen scales might be needed to get the measurement right here. If gaining muscle is your main goal I'd recommend taking it no more than 30 minutes after working out. I hope this helps.
