Whilst Billie Piper clearly says " Stones's" in Rose, both the script included in The Shooting Scripts and the broadcast and series 1 DVD subtitles, show Jimmy's surname to be "Stone". From this, it seems Piper's pronunciation was a blooper. In 2020, actress Sophie Aldred released a brand-new novel featuring the 13th Doctor and Ace called At Childhood's End. A missing ad from 2005 described her as "19 years old, 5'4 " in height, slim build with brown eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair". ( TV: Aliens of London) The Moment, perfectly imitating Rose, was 151 cm tall and weighed 121 pounds. She was almost never seen without her trademark hoop earrings. a b Bishop, Tom (9 March 2005). "Revitalised Doctor Who takes off". BBC News . Retrieved 18 March 2012. When Billie Piper was announced to be returning for The Day of the Doctor, it was assumed by fans that she would be returning as her character Rose. Instead, Billie played The Moment who took the form of Rose in the entity of Bad Wolf. Despite this, the episode still credits her as playing Rose. The Doctor, on the TARDIS' doors: "The assembled hordes of Genghis Khan couldn't get through those doors, and believe me, they've tried." Martin, Daniel (28 March 2007). "Doctor Who: the five best and worst companions". The Guardian . Walk and Talk: The Doctor and Rose have a long walk outside Rose's apartment building, filled with exposition talk. I have a mixed history with Doctor Who novelisations. Some I find totally miss the magic of the original. Many are just fair retreads of what was on screen. And a number add more and make them a worthwhile addition. This however manages to do something really new and exciting. Once Rose tossed the pod into the Olympic flame to recharge it with warmth and love, the Doctor and those taken by the Isolus were freed from the drawing. The Doctor then took the place of the winded runner, lighting the Olympic flame himself and allowing the Isolus pod to leave Earth. Reuniting with Rose as London celebrated the opening of the Olympic games, the Doctor warned her that he felt a "storm" coming when she said that no-one would ever separate them. ( TV: Fear Her)

Tropes:

When the Doctor discovered what the Manus Maleficus was capable of doing, he was momentarily tempted to use it to tear down the barriers between worlds so he could see Rose again. ( COMIC: The Crimson Hand) When he was undoing the damage that George Sheldrake's time portals had done, he noted that he could use them to reunite with everyone whom he had lost before the Nun convinced him that such an act would ultimately be pointless. Agreeing, the Doctor apologised to Rose much to the Nun's confusion. ( AUDIO: The Wrong Woman) Rawson-Jones, Ben (10 July 2008). "S04E13: 'Journey's End' ". Digital Spy. Hearst Magazines UK . Rose eventually crossed paths with another ex-companion of the Doctor, when a capsule containing a feline also named Rose fell into Pete's World while searching for a broken heart in need of comforting. Rose-the-Cat knew of Rose Tyler, and asked if she was a fan of Chums. ( COMIC: A Rose by Any Other Name) Ghost Butler: Rose is in the basement of the shop where she works, and starting to think things are a bit creepy, when the door slams shut behind her. To her credit, she instantly runs to it instead of passing it off as the wind and carrying on. According to another account, they broke up after being together for a year, sometime in late 2003. When he left, Rose told him that "he'd come to no good one day", as he stole her secondhand computer which he stashed inside his car. ( PROSE: Rose) Doctor Who spin-off 'cancelled' ". BBC News (published 21 August 2006). 2006 . Retrieved 16 March 2012.Susan Foreman's birth name in the Expanded Universe is "Arkytior", which is Gallifreyan for "rose". The first companions of both series were named Rose. It ends sort of abruptly when the pair make it into a lift, followed so closely by a mannequin that the stranger ( the Doctor; it's not like no-one saw it coming) can pull one of its plastic arms off. Rose's reasoning skills impress the Doctor enough that he asks for her name, introduces himself, and advises Rose to run like hell before the bomb he's going to plant goes off - apparently, for him, very little has changed: he's still causing havoc wherever he goes. Writer Paul Cornell, Director Charles Palmer, Producer Susie Liggat (26 May 2007). " Human Nature". Doctor Who. Series 3. Episode 8. Cardiff. BBC. BBC One.

As she starts to visit his little shop, he begins to learn that Rose is a wonderfully intriguing creature, and she tries to keep her dark secrets hidden from her newfound friend. Series Is This a Joke?: After escaping the pursuing Autons, Rose assumes that they were students pulling a prank. The Doctor sarcastically responds "Well done" before disabusing her of the idea. Writer Tom MacRae, Director Graeme Harper, Producer Phil Collinson (13 May 2006). " Rise of the Cybermen". Doctor Who. Series 2. Episode 5. Cardiff. BBC. BBC One. Writer Russell T Davies, Director Alice Troughton, Producer Phil Collinson (14 June 2008). " Midnight". Doctor Who. Series 4. Episode 10. Cardiff. BBC. BBC One. After Torchwood developed the dimension cannon, Rose insisted on being the first volunteer to use it, ( AUDIO: The Endless Night) aiming to find the Doctor to warn him about the oncoming darkness. ( TV: Turn Left, Journey's End)Rose discovered a Slitheen scout in a funfair who, after trying out the rides, planned to make a twisted version of the fair where humans would be hunted. The Slitheen chased Rose down a water slide, where at the bottom, the Doctor had filled the water in the pool with vinegar from a chip van, causing the Slitheen to explode. ( PROSE: No Fun at the Fair) My only complaint would be the simplicity of the writing at times. RTD has written a novel before (the 𝘋𝘰𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘞𝘩𝘰 Virgin New Adventures story 𝘋𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘴) so I can't really excuse this simplicity as being a screenwriter not used to writing prose. Instead, I think it aims to be concise and serve as a memory of the episo One aspect of the episode that I’d always found problematic is when Rose investigates this mysterious man named simply The Doctor, she comes across Clive - Someone Who has spent he’s time researching this strange man.
