After you have installed GeForce Experience 1.7, the LED Visualizer module can be accessed through a dedicated tab in the application itself. Visualisers can also replace document projectors so long as you have an external display. Visualisers are cheaper and smaller than projectors and can be moved between classrooms easily. This makes them a better solution in small spaces. LED brightness flashes in sync with audio activity from the computer, such as from a media player or game. With the LED Visualizer, the LEDs on your GeForce GTX hardware can be configured in a multitude of ways, which we will now detail. For best results, we recommend the ‘Each LED’ mode, giving you greater flexibility in the range of effects you can apply.

Visualisers are a type of digital camera. Attached to a flexible arm and sturdy base, the camera is able to connect to other technology like interactive whiteboards, monitors, laptops or projectors. Once connected via Wi-Fi or USB connection, the visualiser does what the name suggests – it visualises physical objects and displays them on the connected screen. Use instead of a whiteboard for items you want to share or keep. For example, as a class, you could generate a mind map about a new topic on a piece of paper, which can then be pinned straight up on a working wall and photocopied to go into children’s books. Rotate the tiles to your desired angle or change to alternating half or third, herringbone and more. If Audio Flashing style is selected, then the speed is controlled by the system audio activity, and brightness is controlled by the Brightness slider.Our Tile Visualiser makes light work of choosing the right style and design by enabling you to upload a photo of your room from your phone or computer and visualise how your chosen tiles would look in your home. Or, if you would prefer, you can just use one of our existing rooms before selecting which tile would look best on your floor or wall.

LED animation is controlled by one of the active animation styles. The speed is set by the position of the Style speed slider. Live marking is when a teacher shares a student’s work with the class and marks it in real-time to show what’s right and what’s wrong. LED brightness changes between minimum and maximum levels with slight delays at the extremes, simulating a breathing pattern. Randomly selects an animation style and alternates the selection with the breathing pattern. The entire pattern becomes: First random selection > Breathing cycle > Second random selection... etc. Depending on your intentions, the resolution of your visualiser’s camera can be of more or less importance. The higher the resolution, the better the image quality. Typically, visualisers can range from 1024×768, 1920×1080 (or Full High Definition) all the way up to 3840×2160 (or 4K Ultra High Definition).

The good news is that no familiarity with Jupyter or python, or any coding whatsoever, is required to use this tool. The inconvenient news, if you are not signed in to a google account, the functionality of this tool is minimal. You can examine the code and the data I have set as the default values and the output thereof, but you cannot make any changes yourself. This is regrettable, but I'm unaware of any better option, and most people have a google account. (If you are not signed in it gives errors about sharing with too many people, which isn't the real problem.)
