When applied, you can barely feel the lightweight formula, which is why lashes stay lifted all day long. Where do we even start? We LOVE Benefit’s Roller Lash mascara and it was a clear winner from the very first use. Perfect coverage, curls that out-delivered even our best eyelash curler efforts, length, definition, long-lasting colour…we could go on about this Benefit mascara for weeks.

During our month-long, Benefit mascara tests, there was a very clear winner and that was Roller Lash.

Tip: Swirl your brush instead of pumping it; this will limit the amount of air in the tube and improve the longevity of your product. Many people find the original they’re Real! Mascara hard to remove. However, it’s all about the formula you use to take it off. Benefit has a dedicated they’re Real! Remover if you’d like to stay within the range or I’d recommend a bi-phase eye makeup remover. A bi-phase formula combines two phases of oil and water mixed, which lift away stubborn, long-wear makeup without pulling or tugging. One of my favourites is La Roche-Posay Respectissime. With the amount of mascaras out there, it would be silly to assume that there would never be two similar wands in this world - after all, there are only so many variations of brushes and formulas one can create.
