About this deal

I've lost count of how many times I've rolled my eyes just by reading a single word of the book because the writing it's extremely cringy -and her thoughts too, I mean, "ovaries explosion"???. There's a lot of telling and not showing, - like the fake wedding that was what I was here for -, a lot of random moments and scenes that came out of nowhere and are extremely confusing because it doesn't seem to match the narrative. The plot gives the impression that nothing really relevant happened the entire time and all we just read are just a couple of "cute and romantic" scenes that are supposed to make your heart melt. Well, mine didn't. A last one for the unrealistic situations: First Olive found out her ex slept with her roommate while they were together, next her bff's sleeping partner is in an accident, how can things escalate so fast? Firstly, he's her ex so I don't get why was she unhappy. Secondly, she chose to abandon her new husband aka love of her life in the club for her bff's sexy time dude. Thirdly, that is why the stupid falling out came out bc if she hadn't left his sorry ass it wouldn't have happened and I wouldn't had read another stupid problem at the end. i cannot with her. she’s immature, annoying and just so damn love obsessive. it was gross and i kept getting second hand embarrassment from her actions

The only reason why I gave this 1.5 ⭐ is because it had dual pov. But honestly reading Jason's pov was as good as not tbh. All the important scenes were excluded, all the non-important scenes dragged this book out for so long. This book doesn't need 33 chapters. Probably half of it would have done it. Open your legs, sweetheart,” I whispered finally. If she could have the orgasm she was clearly desperate for, maybe she would go to sleep. I don't judge people who like these types of books, everyone has his genre and it's fine. I'd like to think about myself as someone who likes to try things, even if she knows she doesn't like them. Olive,” I hissed when I felt her wetness all over my fingers. “Olive, please stop.” I tried to pull my hand away, but she held on to my wrist with her free hand to make sure it stayed where it was." Fast forward to the future. Olive is graduating from college and is a bestselling indie author in talks to have her precious debut novel turned into a movie. The producers love her book and they want one actor to play the part of her book's romantic hero. Hollywood heartthrob Jason Thorn. The man who inspired the romantic hero and story. Maybe you’re thinking yet again that this is all so dreamy? Nope, nothing dreamy going on here. Not even close. Also I can’t not talk about the friendship between Olive and Lucy. It is the most hilarious but most comforting relationship between two friends I’ve read. Their friendship is seriously on another level and I’m not even kidding, if I ever met Lucy in real life, me and her would become immediate friends.

Now he is a movie star, the one who makes women of all ages go into a screaming frenzy, the one who makes everyone swoon with that dimpled smile of his. Do you think that’s dreamy? I certainly don’t think so. How about me coming face to face with him? Nope still not dreamy. Not when I can’t even manage to look him in the eye. The book certainly brought all the feels, and elements of all characters. Throughout the novel, the story is smooth and generally moves along well. At the end of the day if you are looking for something that you have read similar to this before and don’t mind another, then this will satisfy you. If you are looking for something more than just an average read, that you will want to engage with, then this is also something you will enjoy. Details About To love Jason Thorn by Ella Maise ePub I hated hate hated the end so so much. I had a bad feeling about that bitch and i was right. Ugh why cant people just let celebrities live their lives? they are humans just like us! We get a child, our protagonist Olive, and a bland, possessive and pathetic male, our love interest, Jason. The number of times he called her 'little one' made me want to choke myself and angrily throw my kindle across the room at the same time, a remarkable achievement. They don't have chemistry or tension, the smut was terrible, it hurt my eyes, -he even calls her 'little one' during it- and all his possessive attitude during it just made me disgusted, I mean, she already done it with her ex, get over it. And her ex, what unnecessary character that were just here to provide jealousy and in the ending his 'sentiment' wasn't even developed. Talking about unnecessary characters, Lucy was one of them, man what an annoying character! I hate her even more than Olive, she wasn't funny or awkward in a cute way, she was a pain in my ass. Just for the record: "little one" was mentioned 48 times in this book & yes, I counted. It sounded so predatory so I had to affirm myself that Jason Thorn is not it.NOOOOOO, she's literally in a state where she can't verbally consent because she's DRUNK. I don't care that she forced you, don't freaking touch her. I don't think she even remembered? agh how long this book was. they were in love with each other since like the 30% mark why was this dragged out? Olive Taylor has been in love with Jason Thorn, their neighbor and her brother's best friend, since the moment she laid eyes on his dimples. While that longstanding crush eventually ended in heartbreak shortly before he moved away, Olive knew Jason would always have a place in her heart.

Open your legs, sweetheart,” I whispered finally. If she could have the orgasm she was clearly desperate for, maybe she would go to sleep." There's a scene I love in the book that Ms. Dornet narrated, and wow. Insert ten fire emojis here because wow. It was even steamier than when I read it! I loved how she was a romance writer; I loved how he was her brothers best friend. I loved how they meet again years later. I loved how they fell in love. I just well I loved this BOOK. Jason Thorn is a young man who is staying with his mother and father for the night.Jason, our one-dimpled new neighbor, had touched my hair and looked into my eyes, which was a sign that he was in love with me.The narrator meets their new neighbor, Jason, who has a dimple and is going to spend the night right across from their room. The narrator asks Jason if he would like to marry him, and Jason agrees. The narrator then helps her bake an apple pie and vanilla sauce for dinner, hoping Jason will fall for her after he tastes it. Jason then touches his finger to his chin, and the narrator is surprised to see his smiling face. His mother is a soft, compassionate woman who has a heart of shiny liquid gold and is fiercely protective of her family. She also has a secret way of making anyone smile, even when they are sad, and she always made me laugh when we were at the dentist.Dylan had introduced me to a new boy a few days ago, but he hadn’t introduced me to his new friend. My mom asked Dylan to stay and help her set the table, and Jason volunteered to be the guest for the night. His footsteps started up the stairs, and I waited patiently for the owner of those footsteps to reach me.It's a fun book in an equally fun audiobook, so of course I'm recommending it! I read To Love Jason Thorn a few years ago, and it's one of the books that fully cemented my love for New Adult Romance. Listening to it was just as fun, if not more. The narrators did a wonderful job in portraying the characters, and I'm so happy to know they also narrated To Hate Adam Connor. Listen to that, too! My world is a less scary place with you in it, baby. I will kiss you a thousand times every day if that’s what it takes to keep you in love with me for the rest of our days” I have many issues with the book including: hating the characters, consent, her boobs, boring, pedophilia? (question mark bc it's weird), the cringe... agh so many things. And of course, the cliche "accidental touch" moments are so many and spread across the book it is so annoying. It is not accidental if you have enough time to look at each other's eyes for so long, people. It had passed the accidental mark.
