About this deal

Note that whether the 10-model Berzerker units go in Rhinos depends in part on the opponent. If you’re planning to go for turn 1 charges and have little to fear from indirect fire should you go second, then you can put a pair of 5s in each Rhino, protecting them and moving them to objectives more easily on turn 1. Or you can leave all four smaller squads on the table, scout two of them forward, and attempt to crash them into enemy lines on turn 1, then follow with the 10-model squads on turn 2. Dara Meehan’s List You’re not strictly limited to a blood-themed paint scheme. The World Eaters’ pre-heresy livery was white and blue. You can replace almost any part of any colour scheme with white or off-white and it’ll work, as it doesn’t contrast or conflict with any colours. Blue is best reserved as an accent colour – the Warhammer studio paint scheme for Khârn the Betrayer uses a brilliant blue for accents on his plasma-pistol energy coils, chain-axe engine, hair-tassel trophies, and popping bicep vein. To dig further into the nailed-up brains of the World Eaters, Betrayer is your go-to book. The odd couple of Lorgar and Angron unleash the Shadow Crusade upon Ultramar, and a thoroughly bloody business ensues – one that could potentially doom Horus’s whole endeavour.

Overall, extremely underwhelming. He is supposed to fight in Challenges, but to be honest, he might well be killed by a basic Artificer/Power Fist Sergeant. 3+, no invuln, and a Chainaxe? Hard pass. Jakhals are brutal human cultists pumped with combat stims and eight drops of the warp-infused blood of true World Eaters, turning them into furious melee machines with no regard for their own lives. They’re effective fighters in their own right, and throw themselves into enemy guns for a chance to please their murderous god. World Eaters Datacards and Dice Set Lead the World Eaters on the charge with Lord Invocatus, a named warlord who plunges into battle from the burning skies atop his personal Juggernaut mount Khal’guruth. His artificer chain-axe, Coward’s Bane, reaps a tremendous tally of skulls, and if the force of Khorne’s Thunderbolt isn’t a fit for your warband, you can also assemble this miniature as a regular Khorne Lord on Juggernaut.Build a plan around Blessings of Khorne. Although random, the Blessings of Khorne rule gives you a few relatively certain outcomes to choose from, and the abilities you’ll want early will be different from the ones you want later in games. Early on look for Unbridled Bloodlust to pop off long charges and Rage-Fueled Invigoration for the extra Movement boost. Later in the game Martial Excellence, Total Carnage, and reviving Angron will be more important. The World Eaters are best of the best at getting right up into (and punching) the faces of the enemy. They won’t need to write a pretentious little poem about it, either – these gore-spattered gladiators are Violence Incarnate , and entirely too enthusiastic about pummeling their foes into a pulp. Chainaxes – Old faithfuls, and iconic for this Legion, a Chainaxe can be replaced with a chainsword for free, and gives you +1 S AP 4. Take this at every opportunity you get. It is too good to ignore. Wow. You will have a lot of infantry as a World Eater, so this makes 20 man squads with Apothecaries absolutely barbaric in the enemy deployment zone! It also plays very well with Surlak (see below). The World Eaters army rule is Blessings of Khorne, which provides you with one or two randomly selected, hyper-violent buffs each battle round. Here’s how it works.

A Warlord (or Field Commander) from this Detachment with the Bloodblessed Warlord Trait would work well alongside a Master of Executions, making for a pretty terrifying tag team that can cut their way through even the toughest Characters. Angron was amongst the first to throw his lot in with Horus Lupercalat the outbreak of the Horus Heresy, desperate to vent his rage against the Emperor. Tasked by the Warmaster with disrupting the Ultramarines legion in the galaxy’s Eastern fringe and keeping their huge reserve forces from joining the wider conflict, the World Eaters and the Word Bearers assaulted the realm of Ultramar. Here, the atrocities committed by both forces were so great thatthe Word Bearer’s Primarch LorgarAureliantore open a colossal warpstorm, and Angron was rewarded, ascending as a daemon primarch of Khorne. In addition, most advertising networks offer you a way to opt out of targeted advertising. The War Hounds found themselves oddly under-utilised in the latter stages of the Unification Wars, and the early steps to take the Sol System. Why the Emperor wouldn’t let loose his hounds is unclear, but he kept the XII in a state of constant readiness and training, with only sparing engagements. After one of these rare early battles, the bloody pacification of the Cephic Hives, the legion took a red hound for their war-badge. While Angron’s hordes sweep across the galaxy, the rest of the traitor Astartes aren’t just sitting around, and the Balefleets continue their search for Abaddon’s mysterious relics. This powerful elite force comprises 10 Possessed, five Chaos Terminators, a Heldrake, and the new Daemon Prince, all fully capable of slaughtering entire units of enemy warriors.
