I went into this book with an open mind. I can handle cheating stories, I grew up loving soaps with my grandma. But seriously -I could barely handle another minute of these two assholes. And by assholes I mean Lex and Charlotte. So I start by stating that I, like many other readers, have some big pet peeves that make or break a book for me. 1.) I despise love triangles, they never end well. 2.) Cheating is just wrong, period. 3.) Female leads that make me want to pull my hair out. CHEERS, this book has all 3 of my big no-no’s. Oh-em-gee, like hello! It's the hottest spot in town right now," he squeals, clapping his hands in delight. You can also use resources to construct buildings. These supply a steady stream of resources so that you never risk running out of supplies.

One of the worst half-books I've ever read (because it's not a full arc it's huge book split in half so it ends unfinished), I will not be accepting recs from the tiktoker that recced this again LOLI laughed at the similarities between the brothers because they can’t see it, but to me they are two loving, caring and passionate men. It was nice seeing James come out of his brother’s shadow.

It was fun catching up with Billie and Sawyer. Their kids are great fun and a light relief to the heavy subjects covered. I also liked seeing again a possible connection between Hammer and the brother’s sister Lorna and wonder if thats a duet in the works?Of course, he has heard of it. Aren't gays known for their fashion sense and club life? The second his eyes light up, I know I'm on the ball. With the cheating aspect of this story I don't think alot of people will jump on this and read it (that is just my honest opinion) I don't condone cheating in any shape or form in life but reading about it bring it!! Warped I know shoot me!! lol Tricia is Billie's best friend, always ready for a bit of fun, and always keeping men at arms length. They were only around briefly, she was always ready to flee. We already know that James and Tricia have history but what I loved in this book was learning the finer details of their relationship. I adore James, and during the first part of the book I was hurting for him. His past relationships have left a mark on his heart and I am certain that like me, you will totally understand why he behaves in the way that he does. I believed that being loved by him was going to be the greatest gift and as the story progressed, I knew I was correct because he is loving, caring, kind, passionate, considerate and will 100% give his support when it is needed.

A chance meeting and they decide to try and hash out their differences and give their relationship a go. Trust and love are hard to give by Tricia, but James being the patient man he is, is willing to take his time to gain her love and trust. He realises he has loved her from their first hook up at Sawyer and Billies wedding, but had to let her go as she was treating him so badly. The leads conveyed their characters well. I can see their anguish, joy, regret and love toward each other. The story starts at an awkward point in time, where the MMC has already established that he has a crush on the FMC, which is usually a thought process that I like reading about. We hear a lot about past instances where the MMC has interacted with the FMC or with his friends and told them about the FMC and I feel like it would've been beneficial to the storyline to add those in. Now, when James and Tricia finally gave in to the attraction that had been brewing between them for a long time it was explosive. James's description of his reaction to her gave me goosebumps, it was so intense, so hot. I thoroughly enjoyed the first part of James and Tricia's story and look forward to reading CHASING LOVE: TRICIA to see if they can attain their HEA.Tricia’s life has not been an easy one but she covers her baggage well until she breaks down and tells Janes all her deep kept secrets. What drew me to Colby, the starting goalie for The Sound, was his vulnerability. He was desperately worried about his brother, as he should have been. Dez needed to be worried about. Still, it was obviously more than that. All the buildings can be upgraded. The zombie mobile can also be upgraded, giving you additional workers with each upgrade. Is a broken past worth fighting for?? Or is it better to move on with the new and improved type of love? I learned that adult is just a number. Maturity does not come with age but with experience. Experience is the best teacher.

James is Sawyer's older brother. He was estranged from his family for a while due to the choices he had made, now he is trying to repair his relationship with his brother and his family. James works hard for the family business, but something is missing from his life, he wants what his brother has, a woman to love. Tricia is Billie's best friend. She wasn't at all what I expected her to be. She's had a lot of heartache in her life, heartache she has kept hidden from everyone. Behind her carefree facade is a woman who has been broken. What she had with James was mutual extraordinary chemistry, why was that dismissed over and over again? Wtf did I just read lol is the author glorifying cheating? Cause that's basically what this book is. He cheats on his wife with a high schooler btw. And later on she cheats on her fiance with this same guy. Cheating is so cool guys, let's all do it and not give a crap that you're hurting people. Ok your relationship with your wife isn't good. Fix it or divorce her. What's the point of cheating. Tricia has issues that she has been living with for a number of years. Sadly her story is someone’s reality and my heart absolutely broke when what she had been through was revealed. I admire her immensely and I sincerely hope that from this moment onwards she can put the pain behind her and use the strength I have seen that she possesses, to change her future for the better.

All of my favorite characters from the series and I love that we are still catching up with their lives despite their stories being told. It was worth the wait to learn more about Colby, and it is fitting that we get a bit more of Dez’s story along the way. The next book is due out in December. I am excited. And do not get me started on Lex *fans face* I shit you not this guy sounds over the top HOT, these two together are like like panty wetting rabbits on speed!! This instalment of the story has been about love, trust, fear, heartache and forgiveness. The sexual chemistry between James and Tricia is off the charts and I loved witnessing their relationship as the story progressed. I was rooting for them to be together. I could see just how perfect a couple they would make. Their attraction to each other is undeniable and anyone else simply cannot compete.
