Hypromellose 0.25% eye drops are not recommended for prescribing within Leeds Health Economy. The licenced 0.3% drops are available for a much lower cost. HydraMed night is a preservative free ophthalmic ointment containing Vitamin A with herbal extracts of Chamomile and Calendula.

Gently pull down your lower eyelid and squeeze 1cm of ointment onto the inner lid. Do not touch the nozzle to the eye. Blink a few times to evenly spread the ointment across the eye. Leave at least 30 minutes between applying any other ophthalmic products and HydraMed Night (this product should always be the last applied). After administration, a slight temporary blurring of vision may be observed, due the oily consistency of the ointment: it is advisable to avoid the use of the ointment before any activity that requires clear vision (drive cars, use of machinery, etc.).
