About this deal

A BotCon 2015 six-figure set with a rough theme of "human antagonists", be they actual humans or human-built machines. At ComiCon International 2013, Hasbro announced new brand lines for Dungeons & Dragons and Cityville Invasion plus additional building sets for Star Trek, GI Joe and Transformers brand lines. [8]

KRE-O is a line of construction toys (similar to Lego and Mega Bloks) manufactured by South Korea–based Oxford and marketed by Hasbro. Kre-O was released in stores in Fall 2011. [1] [2] The name Kre-O comes from the Latin word creo, which means "I create". Kreon Hound was among the upcoming items revealed at BotCon 2011, but the Kreon shown was ultimately never released. (Bagged samples of the original have since made their way to the secondary market.) Hound would not properly appear in Kreon form until midway through 2014 as a Custom Kreon with different deco. Amusingly, the original Hound helmet has become one of the most ubiquitous among the Kreons thanks to its very generic styling. Optimus Prime was grateful to First Aid for retrieving Metroplex's transformation cog, but also confused that he was treating the injuries of his enemies, the Combaticons. Bad at Fighting? Rescue Team Protectobots, Dispatch! At one point, Optimus Prime defeated Megatron in battle only to be approached by Airachnid, who buttered him up and offered to join the Autobots. Embarrassed by her intimate advance, Optimus was too distracted to notice Megatron recovering and ended up blasted in the behind. The Beautiful Flower Has Thorns? Temptation of the Female Soldier, Airachnid! Joined by two lookalikes, " ML Convoy" and " EXILE Convoy", he later helped Jazz out in a musical battle with Soundwave. Soundwave's Trap? Stop Operation Brainwash Humanity! This is the second event related to the Transformers Universe and the first in the Paramount movie saga directed by Michael Bay.Kreons are miniature figures roughly 1¾ inches tall. They follow the nominal parts list of the industry standard, the LEGO Minifigure: head, torso, left & right arms, hands, waist, left & right legs. The head has a single hollowed top-stud to add a helmet/hat/hairpiece to. However, the Kreons feature some very key design differences from the Minifigure, many of which really come into play with the Micro-Changer series (see below). There are also Micro-Changer Combiners, boxed sets of four Kreons and extra parts that enable them to not only be rebuilt into individual vehicles/beasts/whatevers, but also combine into a larger single robot, a little under the size of a contemporary Deluxe-class Transformer. As most of these sets are based on pre-existing combiner teams with at least five members, the missing fifth (and sometimes sixth) member typically ends up in a concurrent wave of the blindbagged figures. Integrating them into the combined mode is a puzzle for you to figure out on your own. Kreon Warriors Replacing Micro-Changers (see below) as the Kre-O line's blind-bagged assortment, Kreon Warriors features popular characters reimagined as historical warriors. Unlike their predecessors, the Kreon Warriors do not have vehicle modes. Their G1-y-ness is variable, with some versions owing a bit more to their Prime or live-action film series iterations in the facial feature department.

Goellner, Caleb (12 October 2012). "Hasbro Reveals KRE-O 'G.I. Joe' Building Sets [NYCC 2012]". Comics Alliance. Archived from the original on 14 October 2012 . Retrieved 18 January 2013. Optimus led the Autobots in a giant battle against the Decepticons. Bumblebee got blown to pieces during the fight, prompting Optimus to promise he would avenge him... despite Bumblebee insisting he was okay. After taking out his fare share of Decepticons, Optimus noticed the audience. He took a break from the fighting to recap the feature film adventures of the Transformers, and introduced the Dinobots. Then the fighting started all over again when a pizza was delivered to the battlefield. Take Us to the Movies Take Us Through the Movies Small images of a Kre-O Transformers set featuring a big mechanical scorpion and another set featuring a buildable Soundwave were shown at Toy Fair 2012 during the slide presentation, as part of the demonstration of the "build a big energon weapon from parts of the different sets" concept. Neither were present in the showroom or mentioned in the press materials. This same slide was shown during a presentation at BotCon 2012, again with no explicit mention of the mechanical scorpion or Soundwave. Okay, with the introduction of the Cityville line there are monster Kreons too. But so far there's been no fictional crossover between Transformers and Cityville so we're discounting that for now. Carry on. Based on Orion Pax's appearance from " War Dawn", this was available with the Transformers: Kre-O Character Encyclopedia.Speaking of errors, the instruction manuals (he has two) both have errors in their parts listings, showing numerous pieces in the wrong colors or not making it clear that some parts are, well, clear. Making things more confusing, not all of these miscolors are reflected in the step-by-step instructions, while a couple new ones are added there.
