The dust collection is one of the best we have seen along with it being one of the smoothest saw to operate. The rail system is located on the side is a genius way to make this the perfect saw even for tight spaces. I don’t work with crown molding so I think I found my new favorite sliding miter saw.I know some larger wood shops may not have this issue, but either way, dust collection is still important. And unless you’re willing to build a dust collection box around your miter saw, the dust system built-in to the Makita LS1019L is one of the best you can get.
