Five round nesting baskets / bowls/ boxes range in size from 8 - 14 cm (3 - 5½“) diameter. They are stiffened with plastic canvas and knitted in a lightly textured slip stitch pattern. Designed by Olivia Sherwood, these small containers are nnit top-down in the round, starting with a smallish opening, and increasing regularly at four points. Step Six: Pin the printed cotton fabric circle to one end of your tube as shown. Pinning every inch will allow you to create a smooth circular base. Then measure down about 1″ from where you stitched and add another line of stitching. Step Seven: Stitch around the perimeter of your circular base so that your stitches are about 1/4″ from the edge. Repeat the process with the canvas pieces.
