About this deal

By the way, the Orbi SXK80 is not compatible with any previous Orbi hardware, including the Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 5, nor is it with non-Pro Orbi hardware, such as the RBK852. Among other things, that might be because these models are just not expensive enough. Availability and pricing UBIFS (ubi0:3): media format: w4/r0 (latest is w4/r0), UUID 189A65E6-F6C4-4E45-98EE-DAFB854E174B, small LPT model This app shares the same account with Netgear's other services, including the Orbi app (for non-Pro Orbi sets) and the Meural. Even on the SXK800 and its 6,000mbits of potential bandwidth users can only grab the same bandwidth that the router of the Mini delivers if they can bond multiple 5GHz and 2.4GHz channels into a single connection. Most users will be connecting over a single data stream and be bound by the effective limits of the bandwidth each channel offers, even if they’re the only person connecting. For a typical ten-person or less office, the SXK30 has enough bandwidth to easily handle most needs, especially if you tie the satellites using wired networking and the building infrastructure isn’t especially challenging for WiFi signals.

So, it looks like the gateway is discovering devices according to the Shared Service Type, creates iptables prererouting/redirect rules, and then relaying the broadcast? This is far better than what was done before and I'm impressed. Memory: 887104K/1048576K available (7424K kernel code, 842K rwdata, 2044K rodata, 7552K init, 271K bss, 161472K reserved, 0K cma-reserved) What irked me about this app is this: The first time I logged in, it immediately started my 30-day free Insight subscription without me ever agreeing to that. And that happened before I even added the SXK30. For businesses with a sprawling building and many simultaneous users, the Orbi Pro SXK80 is still the hardware to use, even if it’s disturbingly expensive.ipq807x-pinctrl 1000000.pinctrl: could not request pin 26 (GPIO_26) from group gpio26 on device 1000000.pinctrl wlan: [7814:E:CONFIG] cfg_uint_item_handler: 142: allow_mon_vaps_in_sr= - Invalid format (status 16); Using default 0

The exact steps to enable it were a bit hard to figure out though.

For those already using Netgear kit and its Insight management, the SXK30 is a good choice, but cheaper and faster options are available elsewhere for those that aren’t so invested.
