About this deal

Lately wrist training for slopers and compression have become all the rage. I think this is mainly sparked by two podcast guests: Yves Gravelle and Dan Varian. In it they discuss how training their wrists has increased their sloper strength dramatically. Apart from these podcasts there doesn't seem to be a great deal of information on wrist training. I'd like to create a compendium of exercises, tools, etc that target wrist strength not from a wrist stability point of view but from a strength point of view. Here is a start. There’s all sorts of physical therapy exercises you can do to prevent injuries and ensure your joints stay healthy. For the first 1-3 months of training, we’re going to go heavy/high intensity only once a week and this will be in the form of table time. The biggest problem beginners face in armwrestling is coordination, because there’s a TON of moving parts… Leg day is optional for armwrestlers, but I recommend it especially for natural athletes as it’ll boost your testosterone and increase your overall stability at the table.

I’ll also be collaborating with some of the best armwrestling coaches in the world to produce this thing! The simplest way to do this is to do the same exercise for an extra set before your working sets using very light weight for 20-40 reps. Since we’re going to be doing 3 armwrestling workouts per week, simply alternate between the two workouts. All good armwrestling strength programs aim to mimic the movements performed on the armwrestling table as accurately as possible. For that reason, I will use ice only after really brutal training sessions for the express purpose of reducing soreness over the next couple days.

This affordable hand and wrist training tool is made from stainless steel for maximum strength and durability. And detailed knurling (where a pattern is rolled directly into the metal) means it won’t slip when you’re training with it. Importantly, unlike other products on the market, the grip isn’t made from sandpaper, which would tear up your hands, and it’s not painted on, so it won’t rub or flake off over time.
