About this deal

His name is Red Tool, and he wants to prove his love for Harley…by murdering people, kidnapping her and trying to force her to marry him! Il fumetto va analizzato per quello che è: una raccolta antologica di storie, di vari autori e disegnatori, totalmente in bianco, nero e rosso.

I have got to say I enjoyed this a little more than i thought i would. The book is 19 chapters/short stories of Harley, and they are all fun and entertaining. Yes, I enjoyed a couple more than others, but I can't think of one I did not enjoy on some level. Here she matches wits with the amorous mercenary Red Tool, takes control of a giant transforming robot and fight corporate land development with help from Poison Ivy.

How to DIY Harley Quinn Makeup

First thing’s first: Put your hair up in pigtails. (Curl them first, if you want them to be extra bouncy.) Then you can either opt for hair color chalk or hair color spray. Warning: All will be messy, but if you spritz hairspray on top, your color should be set for a few hours. Also, it might be a good idea to wear rubber or plastic disposable gloves when applying it. The story isn't bad either, with lots of over-the-top violence, Harley's trademark humor, and unexpected twists and turns. The main Red Tool story is nice, but only makes up 3 of the collected issues. There's a one-off with Harley getting into it with off-brand transformers that was basically an excuse for over-the-top action and a lot of scatological humor (some of which actually managed to be funny, even). The final issue is the best, though, as Harley gets a chance to close out her New 52 era with a bit of meta recognition and a couple of nice moments with Ivy. We lost an insanely entertaining dynamic when DC banned Harley and Joker. Joker lost the only partner that ever worked with him and showed a different side of him. Harley Quinn lost what made her unique and so relatable to so many people. And I have to say, given the low sales of all of Harley’s subsequent “independent hero” work, I have to wonder if people really like who Harley is sans Joker, or if they just like the *idea* of her independence. Despite my blasting the last story, I will say that it was nice to read a Harley book where I could recognize that I was reading Harley Quinn. Noticeably, every writer so far has chosen to write Harley as a villain here. That shows how people are still viewing the character apart from editorial constraints. However, we can still see the confusion about who Harley is even supposed to be as a character. We can also see that DC just doesn’t have the greatest pool of writers to pull from right now. Red Tool has got Harley’s number. He’s stalked her, analyzed her and has an in-depth knowledge about her that is startling. In a few panels, we are reminded that comics can be as profound as anything written by Freud.

Harley Quinn is a character that I learned about in recent years, always full of surprises and with an unpredictable character. We have all Cosplay Costumes with excellent value for money, and we guarantee that you will receive 100% of the products you want.I’ll confess that despite my slight annoyance with Red Tool there were some parts of his story that literally made me laugh out loud. Like the bit where he tattooed his phone number on Harley’s butt. Priceless! This book actually started really well. At first I was wary of Red Tool, a very thinly-veiled Deadpool pastiche (but Rob Liefeld assures us Deadpool wasn't lifted from any coincidentally similar DC characters) and was worried it would just be cheap shots at DC's chief rival. However, Red Tool is so convincingly written and makes such a good foil for Harley's own brand of comedic mayhem that it genuinely got me wishing to see a real crossover between Miss Quin and the Merc with the Mouth. During my time reviewing at Batman News, I’ve given most comics scores of about 6 or lower. That’s because, quite simply, I don’t think most comics released today even manage to be of average quality. I’m especially harsh on Harley comics. The problems DC has with writing her character run very deep and seem to be never ending in mainstream comics. DC editorial seems not to care about doing anything to remedy the situation. (This is disheartening to me since Harley Quinn is supposed to be my favorite character). Dal punto di vista grafico, si poteva fare di meglio, ma qui entra in gioco il gusto verso un disegnatore.

During an assignment for Crusade (‘Tomoe’) she and Jimmy Palmiotti became a real team as penciller/inker.

I wish we had a chance to see more wrap-up about the Gang of Harleys or what was going to happen to the wax museum (the one Harley is running for Madame Macabre while she’s off helping Mason). I’m thinking Rebirth dropped too suddenly for the authors to have much of a chance at wrapping everything up, but I could be wrong. Still a shame. She continuously produces cover work for Marvel Comics, DC Comics and an assortment of independent titles. Last but not least: Those classic Harley Quinn pigtails. If you don’t have blond hair, there are tons of Harley Quinn wigs out there you can use. But if you’ve got blond hair already, it’s a cinch to DIY. And there are a few different ways to get the look. David Mandel: I moved out to LA in ’95, and I went to work on Seinfeld. I think (we met) that year or later that year.
