About this deal

I was super excited to try Calvin Klein’s Eternity Moment since peony is one of my favorite florals and I have never smelled water lily in a fragrance before. That being said, this perfume is a major disappointment; it literally smells like the most generic drug store body spray you can imagine. It’s a brew of synthetic scents that leaves behind a very unpleasant odor of plastic and damp skin. I can’t believe that I slept on Eternity all this time. I guess that it just became too commonplace after the 80’s for a lot of us 90’s kids. For millennials, it’s safe to say that we all knew someone who wore this. Whether it was your mother, sister, aunt, teacher, neighbor, etc. You absolutely encountered someone somewhere that wore this when it was really popular. And for the people who wore the original formulation at the height of its popularity, this has left some residual impression on your soul and you undoubtedly have so many memories attached to this fragrance. It is that memorable, like the Seinfeld finale episode. I have just started building my collection so when a lot of people kept recommending Eternity as a standout enduring favorite, all I kept thinking about was this emoji: 😬. That is my own fault and bias. I really believed because it’s over thirty years old that it must be old-fashioned, too heavy, overwhelming, yada yada yada. Not the case.

This one is a winner for me. I love it. It is a particularly strong perfume. When I spray one spray, I get different notes than if I spray 3 sprays. With 3 sprays, I get almost a soapy vibe which I usually detest. After about half an hour, that fades. There's a burst of white sugar in the opening. It comes across as a strong floral fruity perfume with woods and resins. This flanker is very different from the original, one of those moments when you're like, 'why is this even a flanker?' It's all flowers, no base notes to sweeten it up, I don't get any amber or woods. Just full on fresh white flowers and the kinda savoury smelling sage note. The florals aren't even sweet ones. For some people that'd be great but for me I like gourmands so when I do like a floral it's usually got something like vanilla and amber in the base. I even like powdery perfumes and don't care when a perfume was made, some of my favourite perfumes ever are 80s and 90s classics or even older ones. This is lighter than what I usually go for but there's something about it I find intriguing. Maybe it's the passionflower in there which I always really enjoy. And I do like the peony which is not too overpowering maybe because it's getting along nicely with the litchee fruit. It's just lovely, and though its light, I enjoy spraying every few hours just to get those first fresh wafts of this beauty. The way that this unfolds is captivating. What I smell from a distance smells nothing like what I get when I bury my nose to my skin. The cloud surrounding me is creamy vintage floral- when I get closer it’s spicy carnations.

To me it is very similar to 5th Avenue, but much sweeter, and has almost 0 citrusy notes from the orange blossom flower. Not sweet, not gourmand not fruitchouli. What a refreshing choice (despite being of the Nineties!) given what we have nowadays... EternityforHerEaudeParfum. Top notes of bergamot, white lily, and white rose finish with spicy tones of sandalwood. The main notes are definitely the pink peony and the jasmine. It strarts with a burst of flowers, and as long as the time is passing by, a juicy raspberry appears, as well as litchi, and the aquatic nuances too (water lily and melon). The woods are there in the drydown, although they are not very present. One of the world's leading lifestyle brands, Calvin Klein is synonymous with authentic modern minimalist style. Everything it creates —clothing, accessories, home design—becomes a timeless classic. The label's award-winning fragrances are no exception. Calvin Klein's portfolio of bold and iconic scents continues to redefine the world of perfume.I grew up in a small town in the 90’s, and while the rest of the world was swimming in a cloud of clean musks and boisterous florals, my corner of space didn’t have access to any of it. Once in a while, you would come across someone wearing “scent” though - we didn’t call it perfume. Sometimes it would be pretty and soft, but most of the times it would be loud and offensive. I see a beautiful, flower adorned swinging bench in a clearing in a dense and beautiful forest with a slight refreshing breeze carrying this fragrance in the air. a frech.. bright.. opulent ..sensual.. floral..a beautiful full.. vibrant.. floral..a floral that actually lasts and is still clean.. and bright.. and wonderful..oh by the way this review is coming from someone who doesn't usually use florals ..lately i ve been having a change of heart..i ve been craving some brighter.. fresher.. florals..eternity.. moment is epmitimy of sophisticated clean fresh bright overly sensuous florals..it also lasts ..its hard for me to describe florals..but all i can say is that its an uplifting.. gorgeous.. scent.. as if it takes you to the garden of Eden.. its so full.. almost velvety.. its almost deep.. and yet fluffy.. and harmonious...it sings ..its still crisp.. still holds time.. within a moment of being.. its eternal in a way.. its not that full of carnations.. as in the original.. this eternity moment is full of pink girl y yet feminine.. and sensual ..and beautiful accords of lush garden flowers... as if u r walking in spring in an English rose floral garden.. with some tart berries.. raspberry.. guava.. litchi .. and a hint of cut grass..light white crisp clean musk.. and an eternal feeling of bliss and comfort a truly mesmerising scent...

I always feel that the original Eternity (and Air for that matter) is perfectly suited to the warmer months as it has a very cold, metallic, ozonic and green freshness to it, Eternity Moment is equally suited to the warmer months, daily casual wear and for the office. Unlike most shower gel type scents, Eternity moment does have quite good lasting power and a nice moderate silage, it will last from 8am till 5pm quite well and is strong enough to get some compliments but not enough that it will fumigate a room. So, I had no idea what this perfume would smell like not even looking at the notes. I was hoping for a floral fruity aquatic with prominent fruity aquatic notes, but it was not the case with this perfume. Not that I hate it but it was simply not what I was looking for. It's a nice and generic floral but nothing special or groundbreaking. I would dare say that sometimes I find it boring. It's a very well blended flowery green, high on the fresia and with a green carnation that never bores. Other white flowers tht bring on a mellow warm comforting amber musk cozy drydown. I used to wear Eternity Moment a few years ago but I couldn’t really remember it other than it is supposed to be a fresh floral and I had liked it. But on wearing it today, I can say it’s not really fresh at all. I wouldn’t call it aquatic either unless by taking a full on floral and then watering it down, you could call it aquatic. Despite all the fruit notes that are supposed to be there, I get none. The bottle is elegant. Eternity was one of those scents that immediately felt familiar, even though I am sure I had never smelled it before. At first whiff, I get the spice, clove to be precise, even if there is no clove listed. Maybe it is the carnation? It is crisp and clean, and doesn’t feel warm - yet. Slowly but surely, the bouquet of flowers come into play - vibrant, almost sparkling. Like dew soaked blooms in a cold winter morning. The glitter and shine never leaves the scent - but instead mellows down because of heliotrope, musk and sandalwood, while amber makes it warm. Despite that this doesn’t turn creamy or lotion like. It retains its soapy freshness, like someone fresh out of shower. Something about it reminds me of L’eau D’Issey but while L’eau D’Issey has that signature melon note that people either love or hate that makes it sweet, this one retains its clean green scent with very little sweetness.Saudade" is how I would describe Eternity in one word. If it was music, it would be some melancholic synthwave instrumental. A scent that is strangely static, ambient and nostalgic. It speaks volumes just by lingering and triggers profound thought of lost happiness, unknown whereabouts, what ifs and acceptance of fate or overwhelm for what is to come. Romantic down to the last detail, the bottle's silver accents symbolize enduring affection, while the white and silver box evokes purity of heart.

What a pleasant surprise this blind buy of Eternity Moment is for me. I just couldn’t resist the massive discount it was being sold for online, but I honestly didn’t expect that I would like it as much as I do. Notes! Eternity Moment is predominantly on me a mild fruity aquatic floral, the DNA hints to L'eau D'issey by Issey Miyake. I mainly pull from it melon, guava, waterlily and musk, I cant detect any cashmeran notes or any of the woodsy notes, its just a fresh and clean scent thats very easy to wear.

First spray and it reminded me of another perfume I have already had and enjoyed: of course the classy EA 5 Avenue, the floral vibe is almost like EA but the difference is that EA stays floral all the way while this one has an inconfondable fruity vibe given by litchi and the leading floral note is peony. Also the fruity part I find it similar to Versace Bright Crystal only that BC is more girlish and watery while EM is more adult. I think if 5 Avenue and Bright Crystal blended together the result would be Eternity Moment. To me during the first 5 minutes this perfume is a typical floral but then the fruity notes start to appear especially litchi and raspberry even though the never fully take the stage. In the drydown becomes a creamy floral so not fresh or aquatic. EternityforHerFresh. Free-spirited. Romantic. Eternal. ETERNITY Eau Fresh for her pairs watery florals with juicy fruits in a modern reimagining of the iconic ETERNITY. It shares some DNA of the original and edgy Eternity, which is much more distinct. However, is also a bit difficult to wear, being that a disavantadge comparing to this one, which can be used daily. There’s a quote by Joanna Newsom about her own marriage that I feel sums up the concept of this fragrance perfectly:
