One of the only downsides we encountered is that the temperature isn't consistent. The milk tended to end up hotter than the temperature we selected. It wasn't a major difference, though—the 140-degree setting frothed milk at 151 degrees—and the consistency of the milk froth is, by and large, more important than milk temperature. Most of these machines will include automatic milk frothing, which helps ensure you get a consistent milk texture for better-tasting beverages. Many won’t include adjustable temperature settings, though.
