About this deal

Extended Heatsink Design: MSI extended PWM heatsink and enhanced circuit design ensures even high-end processors to run in full speed. They are perfect if you are on a budget and don’t need a vast amount of SATA ports or USB ports. In my opinion, if you want to buy a budget-oriented setup, this is your go-to. Memory Support DDR5 6400+(OC)/6200(OC)/6000(OC)/5800(OC)/5600(OC)/5400(OC)/5200(OC)/5000(OC)/4800(JEDEC) MHz Of course, design is a matter of personal preference, so feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section. Memory Support DDR5 7200+(OC)/ 7000(OC)/ 6800(OC)/ 6600(OC)/ 6400(OC)/ 6200(OC)/ 6000(OC)/ 5800(OC)/ 5600(OC)/ 5400(OC)/ 5200(OC)/ 5000(OC)/ 4800(JEDEC) MHz

Plus Gigabit LAN: Onboard 2.5G, Gigabits LAN with LAN manager, delivers the better online network experience without lag. Another viable option at this price point is the Gigabyte B650M Aorus Elite AX, which includes a dozen 60A power stages for the vcore VRM, albeit with just two PCIe expansion slots. It includes a PCIe 5.0-enabled M.2 port, an additional PCIe 4.0 M.2, eleven USB 3.2 ports, eight USB 2.0 ports, and WiFi 6E.

Why is Gigabyte Aorus B650 Elite better than MSI Pro B650-P WiFi?

Today is the day when we can finally present to you the results of our extensive AMD B650 motherboard testing. It's been a massive undertaking indeed. In total, we've tested 35 boards, a task that spanned several months, but it's finally complete. The Asus TUF Gaming B650M-Plus WiFi is also noteworthy. It's a MicroATX board with a dozen 60A power stages for the vcore VRM. Although decent on paper, it doesn't really surpass the B650M Aorus Pro AX, especially given it offers significantly fewer USB 3.2 ports. Here we can see clearly how the chipset limits the features of the motherboard, as it only has so many USB ports. Fortunately, it also has a flash bios button, so it’ll be easier to update the BIOS if needed. Lastly, the antennae are basically the same as the x670-P, very cheap looking with also cheap materials but do the job as it is supposed to. Final thoughts When to buy it On the other hand, the Riptide is a Micro ATX board, employing a dozen 50A power stages for the vcore. It manages to fit in four PCIe slots, though full usage is only possible with a single slot graphics card. It has two M.2 slots, with the primary slot being PCIe 5.0 compatible. It also features 9 USB 3.2 ports, eight USB 2.0 ports, a 2.5Gbit LAN, and WiFi 6E. For WiFi 6E support out of the box, either the MSI Pro B650-P WiFi or Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX will serve you well.

A thing that wouldn’t be as easy to do if it were in the first slot since you’d have to remove the graphics card first, and then the SSD. Having taken a look at each board individually, it's time to get to testing. For testing all B650 boards, we're using the Gigabyte Aorus C500 Glass case with the Aorus WaterForce X 360mm AIO.Flash BIOS Button: Simply use a USB key to flash any BIOS within seconds, without installing a CPU, memory or graphics card. All the accessories which were delivered along with the product should be returned in the same way and along with the product.

Wi-Fi 6E: Features an AMD Wi-Fi 6E module (ultra-low latency, high-bandwidth) & Bluetooth 5.2 technology. Having said that, be sure to go for a 6000MHz memory for optimal performance unless you’re on a restricted budget and need to save money for other components.Surprisingly, the MSI Pro B650-P WiFi didn’t give us any headaches, and everything went smoothly from the moment we boot the PC to all the gaming and rendering tests.
