In the Youtube video below I’ve included video taken with the Sena Prism and the 10C Evo so you can make a direct comparison. It sounds like nothing, but somehow having my helmet hanging around while I charge the 10C Evo seems cumbersome. Crazy isn’t it, yet somehow that irritates me. It definitely shows that this is the rider’s point of view, but you will have to turn your head accordingly to get a photo or video of subjects on your right side. Knowing this, I simply turn my head the extra 30ish degrees to get the right-side subject in-frame. As the Pro version uses the same acceories as the 10c, is it possible to just buy the cameraunit? The Sena 10c Pro is equipped with an upgraded 2k camera, able to shoot in crisp QHD, with a resolution of 3.7 MP (16:9) and a wide 135 degree field of view. The 10C Pro also features Smart Audio Mix, which mixes audio from the intercom and music from your smartphone straight into your videos. Turning on video recording or taking photos takes a few seconds each. If you have a closure rate of 140 mph and want to take a photo or video of a passing group of riders, you better press the camera button as soon as they come into view to get the process started. The installation of the speakers and wiring harness are straightforward. I used the boom mic for the HJC modular and the wired mic for the Klim full-face off-road helmet. I did have a little trouble with the harness connector that connects to the 10C Evo unit from the mic and speaker wires. I was overthinking it. A poorly fitting helmet may not only be uncomfortable, more noisy and may move around when riding if too big or give headaches etc if it is too small, it is also dangerous. A helmet simply will not protect or perform as designed if the head inside it is not snuggly fitted against the impact absorbing material inside the shell. If you are generally happy with the fit, leave the helmet on for a good length of time to ensure it is not pressing in places that are not immediately apparant. If a helmet is really pressing on your forehead this can sometimes cause a headache over time so it may be worth trying another size or brand. The Sena 10C Evo is perhaps the most complete of all the motorcycle cameras I’ve tested recently. Or should I describe the Sena 10C Evo as an excellent Bluetooth intercom that also has a camera?
