About this deal

The reddish-pink colouring is super fun and should make brush time way more enjoyable for kids (and for parents – no more nagging needed) and with strawberry flavouring, you can’t go wrong! However, the strong red colour could discolour some people’s teeth, and the taste doesn’t suit everyone. It’s not the only toothpaste out there that has re-mineralizing ingredients, although it’s the only one I’ve found in non-mint flavors; Apagard and Linhart both have similar active ingredient claims and are both described by reviewers as less harshly minty than other toothpastes. Could be worth a shot. The Classic Citrus: Colgate Lemon & Salt

All of the natural and organic ingredients are suitable for veggies and vegans and there are no parabens, phthalates, SLS, colourants or artificial sweeteners to be found! I tried this toothpaste anyway. I’m not linking to it because that would be promoting my irresponsible choices. My reasons were: It’s available at Target, which has a good return policy. It has fluoride but is also made with a really popular and trendy ingredient. It’s from a brand people seem to love. The flavor intrigues me. One little attempt couldn’t hurt me, as I’m not on any medication that would be affected by exposure to activated charcoal. It contains a range of natural substances that gently polish the teeth, including powders of calcium carbonate, silica and bamboo powder to help scrub away plaque and stains. Scarlet fever: Because a bacterial infection causes this condition, antibiotics are often prescribed as treatment. Klēn's Natural Mint is a fluoride-free toothpaste with a gentle, clean taste and an ingredient list our dentists approve of.Twice is explicitly anti-pseudoscience (!) and pro-social. Thought it’s not the cheapest, you can buy a small size to try it first and cancel the subscription if you don’t like it. As mentioned above, as far as mint toothpastes go, the Early Bird mint version pretty good. If you have excellent dental health, maintaining it should be your utmost priority. All-in-One Toothpaste is the multi-tasking hero you need to make sure everything is taken care of. From preventing cavities to keeping your teeth strong, it is formulated to provide much-needed care and maintain overall hygiene. Calcium carbonate and silica may also help to re-mineralise teeth enamel, bypassing the supposed “need” for fluoride. If you are concerned about the amount of fluoride you may be consuming, a good step toward reducing your exposure is to switch to a natural toothpaste without fluoride.

It’s important to point out that unlike in the USA, most tap water in the UK isn’t treated with fluoride. The texture is a little runnier and grittier than standard toothpastes, but it’s not bad. It left my teeth feeling a little odd, but again, not horrible. As for the taste? It tastes very much like fennel. If you like fennel, you will like it. Make sure that if you’re eating or drinking not long after brushing that whatever you consume doesn’t clash overmuch with fennel. The natural herb extract is made from Mint Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Cardamon, Celery, Caraway, Coriander, Dill, Thyme, Rosemary & Sage. I do not know whether you can taste this in the toothpaste and have not tested it for myself. It is designed to be used in addition to regular toothpaste to help manage sensitivity. Ideally you brush with toothpaste and then apply the crème with your finger and an interdental brush to get between the teeth. We are aware that some toothpaste is labelled as ‘non-mint’, but does still contain mint alongside the main flavour that is listed. In this situation, mint is not always listed in the ingredients. I don’t use mouthwash very often, maybe once a month. If you like to use it as part of your oral care routine, you won’t need your toothpaste to be as freshening. Just like the adult Kingfisher toothpaste, this one also does not contain any artificial flavourings or sweeteners. My three sons, ages three, five, and six, rarely get excited about brushing their teeth. But I left this product out for them to try without any fanfare and observed their reactions. Geographic tongue: This benign (harmless) condition causes irregular red patches to appear on your tongue.
