About this deal

Beauty regimes can be painfully slow to show results. You lose momentum and give up before you start to reap the benefits. Whilst delivering an instantaneous smoothness, you also get faster results compared to other skincare products. This is because serum is highly-concentrated and easily absorbed. In short, if you want to maximise the benefits of everything you put on your skin, face serum is the answer. 2. Nourishing and soothing If you’re looking for a skincare product that will make you feel like it is working straight away, then face serum is it. 6. It’s light and not cloying It’s easy to overlook the self-care aspect of your beauty regime. Yes it’s important in terms of your physical wellbeing, but it’s also an important part of your overall process of being kind to yourself. Absolutely! As I mentioned above, UpCircle (a play on words from the term 'upcycle' - geddit?) is one of the most sustainable skincare brands I've come across.

Clearly this company, its owners and those desperate enough to ‘work’ for them are only interested in profit and setting themselves up a cushy exit strategy for mass profit. I hasten to say it in case I jinx it, but I've also noticed a slight reduction in the appearance of my pores, and my cheeks look fuller and softer, with wrinkles looking less deep after a stressful week. As previously mentioned, I tested UpCircle's 'Award-winners Bundle', which includes three things: a Cleansing Face Balm, Body Cream and Face Serum. With UpCircle, I've found pleasure in my skincare routine, and actively look forward to doing it each morning and night - all without the complicated multi-step guide and expense.

I am notoriously pretty bad with my skincare, and feel quite overwhelmed when it comes to routines with multiple steps including toners, acids and night creams - which is why I opted for the multi-award winning bundle, to keep it super simple. UpCircle reuses and repurposes leftover ingredients like coffee granules, apricot stones and date seeds to be used in its skincare, rather than see it go to waste. Since it launched, its managed to repurpose more than 350 tonnes of ground coffee in its products, which is pretty impressive. Thankfully, UpCircle has done the hard work for you by creating bundles designed for different skin types. This includes a sensitive skin bundle, one for acne-prone skin, a 'redness reducer', night-time bundle, mature skin bundle and another for dry skin. If you're not sure on which UpCircle products or bundles to invest in you can take the brand's skincare quiz - it takes the pain away from being overwhelmed by choice. If you have any sense and intelligence you’ll AVOID this waste of time company and its couldn’t-care-less employees/owners.

UpCircle offer refills on most products, including face cleanser, moisturiser, toner, body scrub, face masks, body lotions, serums, eye creams and hand soaps. Also excellent as a hair or beard oil – jojoba oil softens hair whilst rosehip keeps the skin beneath healthy and reduces irritation. After the morning cleanse, I followed up with my usual moisturiser daily, switching it up with regular toner or UpCircle's Organic Face Serum on days where needed some TLC - usually twice or three times a week. I also used the serum every night after my cleanse. When it came to the Body Cream, I found it pretty gloopy and ideal for super dry skin, but it wasn't something I'd want to use everyday as it took a while to sink into the skin. How much to use: Just a few drops of Serum are needed for best results- between two and four should be plenty! Face serum has a wonderfully light formulation which is very easy for the skin to absorb. Its thin viscosity means that, with minimal fuss, your skin will quite happily absorb the serum. Not only does this deliver the active ingredients of the serum, it also paves the way for helping your skin to absorb the benefits of your moisturiser. We recommend that you use the serum in the evening evening after cleansing, as you should with any other product which you are leaving on your skin. Try our Chai Soap Bar cleansers to ensure your skin is clean before applying serum. 7. Hydrating

Once you finish your products, you simply give the jar, tub or bottle a rinse with warm, soapy water and leave it to dry while you shop for a refill.

Face serum benefits

By using a serum, your skin will be more radiant and full of colour. It’ll be less dry, and fine lines and wrinkles simply look characterful and smoother, rather than a sign that you are tired and worn out. 4. Protection against the world The bundles are usually cheaper than buying the products separately, too. You can also choose to buy the Full House Gift Box, with all 11, full-sized products included. How much is delivery? As one of the final steps in your skincare routine, use an oil-based, water-free serum to deliver intense nourishment and hydration. Through a combination of linoleic-acid rich oils and vitamin C, our Face Serum helps to promote the production of collagen, keeping skin supple.

My skin has felt noticeably less drier and sensitive thanks to the serum, which is made from repurposed coffee extract and oil. Less is definitely more with this one, as it can feel greasy at first but it absorbs wonderfully into skin, leaving it feel nourished (thanks to its key ingredient, Vitamin C).PS. Coffee grounds as a skincare exfoliant - hello long term skin damage and premature aging!!! *sheesh*
