The next morning when Fallon is like "I gotta go" Ben considers using physical violence to make her stay. How cute. What an OTP. He decides to come to her rescue and pretends to be her boyfriend in front of her father. He thinks she is beautiful and wants Fallon to be more confident in herself.

In my opinion, Ben was forgiven by Fallon too easily. I also felt he was a pervert, definitely not a romantic. Ben gets upset about this. Fallon leaves for New York on a bad note, unsure if Ben will meet her next year on the same day and time. Fourth November 9th The next morning, Fallon finds the manuscript Ben has been working on. She learns that it is Ben who started the fire that Fallon was involved in.

This is a book that put me through the ringer. My emotions were all over the place. It made me feel. It made me stay up all night reading. There were points I was sad, points i was angry (it’s been a while since I’ve been this upset at a character…. still not over it LOL), and points my heart was bursting full. I want to talk about the story, but I can’t talk about the story. It’s one of those you don’t want to know to much about. Be surprised and let the emotions consume you. Now in complete honesty, blurbs usually over-exaggerate when they say things like “for the sake of the ultimate plot twist” but I promise you that wording is fully deserved here!! I genuinely did not see the twist coming and I absolutely loved that it surprised me! It just gave the story that extra *ooomph*! Robert McNamara is named president of the Ford Motor Company, becoming the first non-Ford family member to serve in that post. He resigns a month later to join the newly-elected John F. Kennedy administration. Ben basically navigates throughout this book doing whatever he wants without asking Fallon’s consent and then forcing her to do things because he thinks she’s uncomfortable for no reason. It’s just disgusting that the man’s presence in this book is written so much more naturally and commandeering in this book. Ben assumed that his mother’s suicide was because of her lover, Donovan (Fallon’s father). Ben got upset and burned his car but did not expect the fire to spread to the house Fallon was sleeping in. Is There A Sequel To November 9? first, i am convinced that colleen hoover does not know how to write an unproblematic romance. which honestly, is a fact because i get scammed every single year into reading her new release then absolutely regretting it.
