About this deal

This is the opening line his drunk ass choose to text after having lily in a chokehold💀 why is he so extra Things begin to change however, when Quinn realises she can’t have children. She’s dreamt of becoming a mother since she was young, and having children had always been discussed as a certainty in their future. As intimacy becomes a sad reminder of Quinn’s infertility, and one failed IVF session after another take their toll, Quinn and Graham start to withdraw from each other.

One YA reader, 14-year-old Ash Taylor, tells me Hoover’s is “writing for people who don’t like reading”. Then they amend that: “It’s like fanfic whose inspiration is the novel itself.” Hoover writes to the novelistic form, but isn’t trying to be it. She’s deft, she’s witty, her plots propel and her characters stand up on their own; if she wanted her books to read more like regular, commercial fiction, she would have no problem writing them like that. That’s just not the effect she’s going for. Hoover is known for her heartbreaking, raw romances with complex storylines and abrupt plot twists that will make your jaw drop — making it easy to read her books in just one sitting. The hard part? Restraining yourself from buying yet another Colleen Hoover book seconds after finishing the last. A real-life fairytale unfolds for eighteen-year-old Daniel and a mysterious girl one dark night, which after an hour of intimate make-believe, she disappears without a trace, just like Cinderella. After a year of wondering what happened to her, Daniel's Cinderella reappears in the form of Six, an enchanting girl who could be his dream woman or his worst nightmare.

of this book is a retelling of the first one through Lily's creepy letters to Ellen. Literally reused, word for word scenes. Was Colleen tryna reach a word count or smth?

High School senior Sky and Dean Holder share a passionate young love for each other as well as devastating pasts. Their well-kept secrets and troubled pasts are forced to the surface, with Sky, and Dean pushed to choose between the hopeless truth and the empty lies they tell themselves. This novella follows Maybe Someday and focuses specifically on the first novel’s fan favorite side character, Warren. In Maybe Not, Warren finds himself living with a cold and calculating female roommate, Bridgette. This enemies-to-lovers fable forces readers to ask, will Warren and Bridgette fall in love or tear each other apart? The sequel to Hopeless, Losing Hope unravels Dean’s guilt-ridden past and his early childhood encounters with a troubled Sky. A couple who once told each other everything – Graham even used to beg Quinn to tell him about her dreams every morning – Quinn and Graham begin keeping secrets and hiding their feelings until their once-perfect marriage is on the verge of collapse. Although neither wants to lose the other, it seems almost inevitable and that’s when they realise the one promise made long ago, that might just be able to save them.

It Ends With Us should have stayed a standalone. It had the perfect bittersweet ending that was on point with the whole book. This was just meh and didn’t add anything interesting or new to the overall story. I don't dislike It Starts with Us per se, but it does feel more like a long and unnecessary epilogue to It Ends with Us rather than the separate, worthwhile story it should've been. Hopeless" by Colleen Hoover introduces us to Sky, a young woman with a mysterious past, and Dean Holder, a boy with his own secrets. As their paths intertwine, they embark on a journey of self-discovery, uncovering painful truths and confronting the darkness that haunts them. This gripping novel explores themes of trauma, redemption, and the transformative power of love, as Sky and Holder find hope amidst their darkest secrets.

A follow-up to the first anthology, Two More Days, features short stories that all begin with the same first sentence. Bite-sized, diverse stories - the perfect way to end your Colleen Hoover binge! Because she was self-published for a long time and she's such a prolific writer, a number of different series were released in the same year, which means it's not really a case of working through them by year. Then you have the fact she has both Series and Non-Series books, which adds an extra layer of complexity to the choice. After a childhood of poverty and neglect, Beyah receives a university scholarship. Before she goes, an unexpected death leaves her homeless and forced to go live with her estranged father. There, she meets a wealthy and mysterious boy named Samson and with their futures around the corner, they begin what they think will be a summer fling. She called me and she said, 'Six people I don't even know bought my book.' And I'm, like, 'You are kidding!'" said Hoover's mom, Vannoy Fite, recalling the fantastical quality of the weeks following Slammed's release. "And then a couple weeks later, she said, '60 people bought my book. I think I can pay my light bill.' I'm, like, 'Oh my God, Colleen, that's crazy!' And then it just blew up from there. Just blew up." The pressures of engagement

This all sounds rather harsh, but it's really not that bad. It was an alright way to pass a few hours if you're not quite ready to leave the world of Lily and Atlas. This pleasant and unexciting story won't leave you breathless, but it shouldn't offend either. Just be ready to forget about it almost as soon as you're done. year old Theo who talked like he was going on 50 was my favorite character in this book. And you know why? Because this little kid was pretty much bullying Atlas every time they interacted and I loved it. Some adults should be bullied more. 💅 After all, no matter how devoted Jeremy is to his injured wife, a truth this horrifying would make it impossible for him to continue loving her... Not to mention the fact that Lily’s closest friends are Ryle’s sister and his best friend; it is close to impossible to heal from abuse when you are still in such close proximity to your abuser. The way Allysa and Marshall talk about Ryle as if he’s a little kid who just gets mean sometimes, instead of the violent wife beater and attempted rapist that he is, is so strange…. Maybe I’m the weird one, but if someone I “love like a brother” were to push their partner down the stairs and bite them so hard they bled, I simply wouldn’t love them like a brother anymore! I read the book," she said. "Halfway through, I'm just freaking out. Who would have thought reading could be enjoyable?"

Atlas has always been book boyfriend material but this book really cemented him as one of the good guys, and if not one of the top 10 book boyfriend’s in existence. I was not expecting this to get 5 stars from me, my favorite book by Colleen Hoover is Reminders of Him but this really deserves five stars for how thoughtful, realistic and just downright beautiful this was. The BookTok format is short and sweet: a user will appear and speak from the heart about a book they love or hate, for 15 seconds, a minute, three minutes or 10 minutes. “Content on TikTok tends to be more authentic,” says Edel Flood, head of lifestyle and education for TikTok UK. “You don’t need any video editing experience or a big following. It’s more like getting a book recommendation from a friend.” Authenticity is a huge preoccupation on the platform – a constant dialogue between readers about who is most authentically reflecting their experience, and interrogation of the authors, how authentic they were when they started out, and whether they’ve retained their authenticity in the teeth of their own success. speaking of: stop writing her letters for the love of god i literally don’t know if my heart is cold and dead but we get it atlas, you love her and can’t live without her and she saved you. you don’t have to say it a hundred times!! what a waste of paper!!! give us some new content king! Here, we follow a nurse named Tate Collins and an airline pilot, Miles Archer, who have nothing in common apart from an undeniable attraction. So, they begin a no strings attached relationship. Unsurprisingly, rules soon start to be broken. And she gets a small thrill each time her sons do the laundry. "I'm not going to complain when my white towels turn pink," she said. When life takes a surreal turn The third and final installment in the Slammed trilogy, This Girl takes the familiar story and turns it on its head, with the story unfolding from Will’s perspective, rather than Layken’s. The couple continues to struggle with the shadows of Will’s past, balancing the weight of that with the hope of their future.
