About this deal

The energy-efficient Lay-Z-Spa Zurich AirJet™ is an ideal size for a couple or small family but doesn't compromise on relaxation. It doesn't require much space in the garden and its aesthetically pleasing suede look fits in with most garden designs. 120 AirJet Massage System Whilst testing this hot tub, we noticed that on average, it took one hour to heat 2°C. On the flip side, once the heating is off, it will drop around 1°C every hour. It will stabilise at a temperature based on the outside temperature. This temperature that it stabilises at will be a lot colder in the winter than in the summer. Remove the filter housing and replace the stopper plugs provided. Now take the filter out (if it is still in good condition, then clean and store safely). Step 3. Disconnect the Pump Even if the inflatable hot tub is turned off and empty, your hot tub should not be left outside in the winter. Besides possible motor issues, the harsher weather conditions may cause wear and tear of the vinyl and other fixtures. Is it OK to store a hot tub on its side?

Yes, all Lay‑Z‑Spa hot tubs include energy-saving features as standard to minimise hot tub running costs. These include the insulating lid, power‑saving timer and thermostatic heating system. Some models are also available with an insulating EnergySense™ cover .

The lay z spa zurich has an integrated EnergySense™ outer and top cover that helps speed up heating and reduces heat loss, making it 40% more energy efficient when compared to similar inflatable hot tubs. A simple but very effective way to save money when filling up your hot tub is to use water from the hot tap. Just make sure you start with an inch or two of cold at the bottom first and ensure the water from the hot tap is no hotter than 40°C. It is far more energy-efficient to start your hot tub up with warm water rather than filling the hot tub with cold water and waiting for the pump's heater to do all the work. At the touch of a button, the Zurich AirJet™ will have you surrounded by thousands of tiny therapeutic bubbles. There are 120 powerful AirJets™ around the outer circumference of the base. EnergySense™ Insulated Cover

This luxurious hot tub requires no tools or professional installation meaning your spa can be set up and ready to fill in just ten minutes. Made from durable stress-tested DuraPlus internal beams and outer walls, this inflatable spa offers superior structural stability and cushioned comfort no matter how many times it is inflated and deflated. Bear in mind that in winter the temperature of the hot tub will be a lot lower. We tested ours in the summer so can't comment on this (yet). It will naturally take a lot longer to get warm in the winter, though lower temperatures will obviously feel hotter, so you might not have to heat it all the way to 40˚C, but instead 36˚C or 37˚C. Available on selected Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs, this function offers up to 50% reduced energy consumption when using the massage system. This gives control over the amount of energy being used to power the massage system without a noticeable difference in the intensity of the AirJets. You can relax in a cloud of bubbles knowing you're using less energy. Hot Tub Energy-Saving With A Thermal Cover Note: There isn't much noticeable difference between 40°C and 38°C so you could also consider dropping the temperature you normally set your hot tub to. As well as the EnergySense™ cover, the Zurich includes an insulating inflatable lid to help prevent heat from escaping from the top and an energy-saving timer. The time lets you set when you want the hot tub to heat so you are not using energy unnecessarily. Winter use with Freeze Shield™Inflatable hot tubs should be stored folded as per the manual instructions, not on its side. By storing it on its side you risk permanent damage to the structure. Conclusion When considering where you will place the Lay-Z-Spa Zurich in your garden, you'll need to think about a few factors. Our hot tub arrived with a mat that you put down underneath it, to protect your floor and to help ensure you won't slip when getting out all wet. The mat is slightly larger than the hot tub itself, but you can use it to visualise where it will go if you buy it too. It fits together like a jigsaw. It's worth us noting that this mat will help keep heat in the hot tub too. If you can't invest in one, then try and get something similar for your hot tub surround. Otherwise, you can wipe down the exterior of your hot tub with ease, or you can even pressure wash it if necessary. Just don't get too close on the highest setting. We won't lie: setting up the Lay-Z-Spa Zurich was a slight nightmare. We were missing a part, as it turns out, which was pretty key to the entire process. A washer. Setting up your Lay-Z-Spa in an area with a windbreak or in a sheltered area helps to prevent wind chill. Wind exposure can rapidly reduce water temperature both when using it and when not using it. Something as simple as placing your hot tub next to a fence can form an effective shield against the wind.

We strongly recommend making sure the protective top cover and the insulating inflatable lid are firmly fastened in place when you are not using your hot tub and when heating up the water. The lid creates a thermal barrier that helps prevent hot tub heat loss. Once drained, take out any fixtures and fittings still attached and place them to one side for cleaning. (clean with soapy water and then dry completely with a soft cloth). Step 5. Thoroughly Clean and Rinse As soon as you take the lid off this hot tub to get in, the temperature will drop quite rapidly. The same goes for when you turn off the heating. Whilst testing, we turned its heat off at around 11.30pm, when it was 35˚C. By 8am the next morning it had dropped by 7˚C, to 28˚C. If you’ve kept your Lay-Z-Spa clean throughout the season, you should easily be able to wipe away any residue using warm water and a soft cloth or sponge. (If there are stubborn dirt marks, squirt a little hand soap on the spot. A very mild dishwashing liquid might also work). Step 6. Completely Dry the Hot Tub Here’s how to deflate lazy spa hot tubs (or most inflatable hot tubs to be honest) using my simple step-by-step guide. It’s not complicated but it is essential that you don’t skip any steps to keep your lazy spa at its best. Step 1. Turn OFF the PowerStoring a moist hot tub is asking for mould. Make sure all the water is completely drained out and go over it with a dry cloth before folding away. Step 7. Deflate the Lay-Z-Spa A Lay-Z-Spa Floor Protectoris a great way to insulate the base of your hot tub so that it helps reduce the amount of heat that might escape through a cold floor. A floor mat is also perfect to protect the base of the hot tub on potential rough ground. 6. Position Your Hot Tub Near Windbreak Or In A Shelter Remember, keep it off the floor and protected from any nibbling mice etc, in its original box is ideal if you still have it.
