Got to say the descriptive writing of things unrelated to the actual bones of the book ie scene settings and atmospheres, feelings etc were excellent and probably kept me reading the book rather than the actual story If the laws regarding the view of pets during divorces change, then more and more people may begin having shared custody and visitation arrangements pertaining to pets.
