If you are a heavy user, you might require a camera with enough storage capacity for your recordings. But for me, I see 19GB as enough especially since I use the Z1 for capturing still images only. degree cameras introduce a breathtaking experience in capturing your activities and making virtual tours.

Theta Z1 has the signature candy-bar shape that Ricoh uses for its theta cameras while GoPro Max takes on the square design that GoPro has used for a long time. From my experience, I would say that Theta Z1 has the best DNG RAW in any point and shoot 360-degree camera.

There have been a few interesting cameras released from smaller companies, such as the XPhase Pro and Labpano Pilot One. These cameras more than two lenses to shoot VR tours which usually results in higher quality images. The reason I don’t recommend these is because they are harder to use, harder to find and produced by small companies which may not be able to offer as much support. Video You’ll be able to shoot DNG Raw and JPEG images simultaneously allowing you to edit your images and retain as much detail as possible.

Why is sensor size important?

We’ve got Ricoh Z1 nearly 3 months ago (from a well known German shop). I don’t do it often but its time to share my experience with this one. Videos shot with all RICOH THETA models are supported. Blur correction may not work depending on the shooting environment and conditions.
