About this deal

The EV-10 was replaced by the Roland EV-5 very early so there aren't that many EV-10s around. It is very solid as it is made by the same heavy-duty diecast aluminum housing that's on the BOSS FV-200 and FV-100. The Roland EV-5 is for comparison made of plastic. There's a minimum volume adjustment knob that allows the user to select the degree of effect and volume desired at the minimum point. Must be set correctly for EV-5 to function R. Assign this EULA, or any right or obligation under this EULA, or delegate any performance, without Roland’s prior written consent, unless You are transferring the Software in accordance with the Transferability Section 3 below. Even if Roland consents to an assignment, You remain responsible for all obligations under this EULA that You incurred prior to the effective date of the assignment. I. Provide access to the Software or allow use by any third party, other than Permitted Third Parties, without Roland's prior written consent;

When Boss recreate one of their legendary effects units, they don't just make it true to the original. They make it better too! The RE-2's delay time has been doubled, tap tempo control is supported, and there’s a cool 'Twist' function for creating evocative special effects as you perform. For the dry sound, you can choose between the warm and fat RE-201 preamp tone or a clean signal with zero processing. Full stereo I/O is available for full immersion, and it’s possible to mute the dry signal for parallel effect setups and studio use. The RE-2 also supports expanded control via external footswitches or an expression pedal, including continuous pedal control of multiple panel functions at once. Specifications These are a great expression pedal. I have two, and use them to control a Strymon Timeline and BigSky respectively, and they work very well. The one issue that I would note is that the pedal sweep isn't linear, but seems to have a logarithmic sweep in my experience. This isn't much of a hindrance in terms of its functionality for me, but is something to be aware of. I note that my experience is in contrast to that of some other reviewers, so your experience may vary.This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between the individual consumer or business entity that will use the Software (“You”) and Roland Corporation (“Roland”). The Roland EV-5 can work in combination with other manufacturers, including Boss, so mixing and matching your current pedal board should not present a problem. The customer no longer needs to register the product, however, a new Roland Account system/campaign will launch later this month I really don't like the feel of any of these pedals so if I do go ahead and upgrade, I will buy several proper E.Ball volume pedals and put different pots in them. I was looking for the cheap way to get the M-audio pedals to work better (since they seem to feel so much nicer than my Roland EV series volume pedals...which are now pretty beat up).

E. Install and operate counterfeit versions of Software (i.e. software provided by anyone other than Roland or an authorized representative of Roland) on Roland hardware; The VG-99 / FC-300 Owners Manuals are quite clear - Use the EV-5, which is a different beast than the FV-50L.( I use a FV-50H on my stompbox Pedal Board) Evaluation Software. This EULA does not license use of Software for evaluation purposes (“Evaluation Software”) except to the extent these terms may be invoked by the separate license terms and conditions accompanying that Evaluation Software.

This is also the best expression pedal in terms of functionality. It can be used for data entry, volume control, or parameter adjustments within real-time scenarios. To put it simply, this guitar expression pedal will definitely add value to your existing line-up.
