About this deal

Yes, a Solo Stove can get wet or rained on, but it’s recommended to cover the stove with a protective cover when not in use to prevent rusting and damage. It was a tight fit to get the lighter into the unit to ignite the starter cube, and we would have appreciated it if the opening was a little wider. Outdoor fire pits like the Solo Stove are an excellent way to extend summer days long into the night or even into the colder months. They provide light, warmth and (most importantly?) an area for people to gather around and make s'mores! Some come with the ability to grill over an open flame as well. In terms of safety, Mesa’s small size and tabletop format brought me peace of mind when my kids were gathered ’round it. Whereas I’m typically a bit of a helicopter mom around Solo’s bigger firepits, I was much less worried about a kiddo grazing a knee on the firepit’s piping hot exterior or tripping and falling directly into it. Sure, it still got very hot, but with the Mesa, the kids were further away and safely leaning against a table as they roasted their marshmallows.

That's where the second fuel option comes in handy. To use wood pellets, simply place the Mesa's included pellet adapter into the unit before filling with pellets. While the Mesa produced gorgeous flames, it didn't radiate that much heat. You had to hold your hands within six inches of the unit to warm them, so it certainly didn't reach as far as the chairs around our table. It's hot to the touch

It was also difficult to add additional fuel with a skinny opening filled with flames. It's challenging to use with wood fuel Yes, a Solo Stove can be used on grass, concrete, or outdoor rugs, but it’s important to place a protective pad or heat shield underneath the stove to prevent any damage to the surface.

Along with our great selection of outdoor fire pits and accessories is the price tag that will make you smile. We offer great value for the price! In fact, it will be hard to find high quality fire pits, portable BBQ’s, chimineas, outdoor grills, rain chains or garden bells at such a great price anywhere else. Yes, during these tough times, you will still be able to find the right fire pit to fit your surroundings and enhance your relaxation time, but also fit your budget! Even when we used twigs from around the yard, we still had to break them in half several times to get them to fit inside the unit. It was much easier to use pellets, which didn't require any manual effort at all. It doesn't radiate that much heat Yes, a Solo Stove can be used under a covered patio or porch, but it’s important to ensure proper ventilation to prevent the buildup of smoke and carbon monoxide. Yes, Solo Stoves can be left in the rain, but it’s recommended to cover the stove with a protective cover when not in use to prevent rusting and damage.

That said, it doesn't produce that much heat, so it's more decorative than functional. You can absolutely use it to make s'mores, but it won't radiate that much heat on a cold night. The Mesa comes with a mini pellet adapter—so don’t sweat; you can use pellets or firewood in your Mesa as soon as it arrives. Heads up: The Mesa XL does not come with a pellet adapter because it is designed to hold pellets and firewood without conversions. You absolutely do not want to touch the fire pit for at least 30 minutes after it's extinguished (and it was still warm to the touch up to an hour after the flames went out). Give your fire pit a sturdy base on which to rest. The included Mesa stand was created to improve your experience. Place Mesa in the middle, then start your fire. Fold the legs when you’re ready to move, and nest your stand inside Mesa for incredibly portable storage. Dual Fuel DesignADD A POP OF COLOR TO YOUR TABLE TOP MEAL EXPERIENCE: Mesa is a tabletop fire pit that adds warmth to the table and is ideal for urban and garden settings. The Mesa is a more smaller version of our famous Solo Stove Fire Pits, making it ideal for terraces, balconies, and tiny gardens. Mesa is a dynamic centrepiece that improves the appearance of your area. It was thoughtfully designed with new seasonal hues. The same feature I loved about the Mesa is one of the features I don't like about it. While the portability is great, the Mesa is just a little bit too small to be functional for warmth purposes. It’s not recommended to build around a Solo Stove as it can obstruct ventilation and increase the risk of fire. Getting a fire going only takes a few minutes with the Mesa, too. Simply place your fuel (wood or pellets) into the base of the Mesa, light your fire starter and boom! You can add more fuel as needed to sustain your mini flame. Solo Stove's popularity can be attributed to a number of factors. Its fire pits are ruggedly-built, well-designed, easy to use and (mostly) portable. The brand's trademark smokeless technology actually works, eliminating the most annoying thing about traditional fire pits and bonfires: the smoke that seems to constantly always be in your face no matter how hard you try to escape it.
