About this deal

D’Apliése – I really wanted to include the Pleiades somewhere, so we came up with the anagram D’Apliése for the sisters’ surname. Theos mother grew up in the English country side. Blonde, blue eyes like an English rose. Tried to recreate her rose garden in London.

The first adopted daughter, Maia D’Apliese, decides to pursue the clues, taking her all the way to Rio. Upon arrival, she is rebuffed by a woman who is obviously related to her- but she is not without help. As she learns of her past, a story emerges that is fascinating, heartbreaking, and haunting.Kreeg Eszu’s boat, the Olympus – the name of the yacht was taken from Mount Olympus in Greece, which was the mythical home of the principal Greek gods. Zeus was the king of the gods and the ruler of Mount Olympus. The Greek god of the sea, Poseidon, is another who is purported to have sired children with one or more of the Seven Sisters. Unfortunately, there’s a long-standing association with a certain disaster movie involving a ship of the same name! So I decided I couldn’t include it in the story, using instead the equivalent Roman god, Neptune. Theo is 35 in 2007. He is especially interested in Pa Salt and her sisters. He studied classics at oxford and knows about Greek mythology. He played around with ally’s last name. “Ally it’s the Greek name of the stat cluster that contains the seven-sister star cluster”.

The love interests made me shiver. There was nothing to really enjoy or uncover about characters falling in love as it was blatantly obvious to the reader that a romance was going to happen. Floriano seemed to contradict Maia every chance he got, telling her what she should be wearing, what she should be feeling, and despite only just meeting him, she appeared to be completely fine with this, and yes, wait for it.....she happily hopped into bed with him. Tell me, oh fellow reader, is being patronised while being called a frump in one's choice of clothing a turn-on these days? I might go and ask Maia. Or, should I get Floriano on the phone and ask him instead? Paris. A boy is found, moments from death, and taken in by a kindly family. Gentle, precocious, talented, he flourishes in his new home, and the family show him a life he hadn’t dreamed possible. But he refuses to speak a word about who he really is.

Then, as Lucinda Riley, her career as an author soared. Alongside the Seven Sisters series, she wrote novels such as Hothouse Flower (2010, also titled The Orchid House), The Girl on the Cliff (2011), The Midnight Rose (2013), The Angel Tree (2014) and The Butterfly Room (2019). Her total sales worldwide were 33m. There are no questions left answered. Most of the theories we all had were correct, but Pa's original story was a complete surprise and worked well. You can call him when we get closer. Would be embarrassing if it were a Russian oligarch. Theo then asked if pa salt ever rented it out. Which she declined.

Horst (Anna and Grieg’s son) went to study in Paris. When was this? Did he meet anyone from the other books?

Locations and objects

Isabela would inherit a number of coffee farms with Gustavo from her father. Her father bought another two in 1929 after they had married. Zed calls Maia a few days after pa salt had died, telling her he found out yesterday from a sailor friend of his that pa salt had died ( June 2007). Zed had to travel to Geneva in the coming days. Why?

Right before, ma and star went to the bar in the interval, and ma said she wished her other sisters could have seen ally preform. And pa salt of course. Then she looked concerned, furrowing her brow. Star thought of what secrets she could be hiding . Did she know that Pa Salt would be there and was worries he would be seen by anyone. As he grows into a young man, falling in love and taking classes at the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris, he can almost forget the terrors of his past, or the promise he has vowed to keep. But across Europe an evil is rising, and no-one’s safety is certain. In his heart, he knows the time will come where he must flee once more. I’ve loved the Seven Sisters from the get-go and this latest in the series is just as great as the rest.’The Seven Sisters is a historical fiction series by Lucinda Riley. This series covers the lives of six girls who grew up together while explaining what happened to the seventh of these sisters. The girls’ adoptive father raises them to be responsible, but upon his death, he also leaves them clues that help them trace their heritage. Each of the books in this series takes the reader on a journey to different parts of the world where the girls will discover their identities while revealing a part of their father they never knew. The author is an excellent storyteller making these books captivating. There is a lot of love and good in these girls’ stories, but they also come with their fair share of heartbreaks. This is one fascinating story. The author alternates between fiction and history to tell Maia’s story and that of her kin. In this sweeping tale of love and heartaches, the author will let you in Maia’s origin, her current life, and the circumstances that led to her adoption. As you get to know about Maia, you will also accompany her on a journey from Switzerland, to Rio and Paris. The ride may be heartbreaking at some point, but you can bet that it is well worth it. This book marks the conclusion of ‘The Seven Sisters’ Series. As the title suggests each book is dedicated to each sister, within each book is the story about their origins and they are all named after the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades. This book is the story of Pa Salt as the girls called him their adopted Father. Flora’s father went on annual shooting holiday with cousins in the highlands in Scotland. Archie was there with him too. As for the writing, it was rudimentary and slightly uncomfortable to read. It didn't have any particular flow, and I found it immensely repetitive, especially when involving peoples names.
