She does something at a party that her and her brothers crashed that was hosted by one of their rival families, which causes so much tension that Aida is forced to marry Callum, one of the sons of that family. Callum is running for office and despises Aida, but there's no denying he's intrigued by their chemistry. Aida despises Callum too, but they marry to appease tension between their families.Our initial interaction took a negative turn when I accidentally caused a minor fire within the confines of his residence. It’s not a completely bad start to this series though because I did like Aida’s brothers and will eventually read their books. I guess I just had too high expectations that weren't met. I do still want to read more from Sophie Lark, especially her Kingmakers series! And listen, I'm a dancer, I love reading books where dancing is included. But this was so stupid that it did not work for me.
