About this deal

Promoter Darren Laurie is behind the events, and he told Edinburgh Live the parties will represent a "last hurrah" for the famous West Lothian venue. Like many communities across Scotland, there is a shortfall of specialist accommodation that caters to the needs of the elderly but as a result of our collaboration with CCG and Holmes Miller, we are catering to this demand by delivering a sustained programme of developments as well as creating a standard of living (and service) that is meticulously designed to meet the needs of every resident.” Morrison Community Care has proposed turning Club Earth into a care service centre with private residential nursing and dementia care for up to 66 residents, reports Edinburgh Live. The development will support over 100 jobs and a local recruitment drive will be undertaken over the course of the next 12 months in advance of a formal opening in summer 2024.

So news that the legendary Livingston venue will be reopening for five pop-up club nights over the festive period is sure to generate much excitement. It therefore wasn't too much of a challenge for Darren and his team to plan a fortnight of festive parties. The fright fest will take place from Wednesday October 28 until Sunday November 8, and even includes some local history in the form of a horror tribute to Lizzie Bryce, the 19th century local legend from mid-Calder who was reputedly a witch.

Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the Clubhouse and Country Club restaurants, lounges, bars, gym and swimming pool.
