Sharpness at the 24mm end of the lens is very good in the center of the frame when shooting at the widest aperture of f/3.5, although the edges and corners of the frame are noticeably softer. Photos with flash show no signs of red-eye, and the camera has used a fairly low ISO speed. Dynamic range is quite good, with the camera avoiding over-exposure where possible.
