That said, it is always worth remembering that we all have different skin and different allergies/sensitivities so what works for some, may not for others therefore make sure to do a patch test before you use new products. Neither this shampoo not the conditioner below contain any silicone, parabens, perfumes or colours and they’re both Asthma & Allergy certified.It contains Aloe Very which is soothing and hydrating and very mild too. You can use it on children’s hair too which is great because my three-year-old has really wild curls that always need taming after washing. Styling Important: Please note this product does not produce lots of lather (due to a reduction in chemicals that cause this effect) but still cleanses hair and scalp effectively. I found applying a small 2p sized amount on the ends of my hair left my hair really shiny and manageable and really works nicely after using the shampoo. Their products are perfect if you find that conventional beauty and styling products cause itchiness, redness or other allergic reactions.

From the products that I’ve tried so far, the hero product for me is their Sensitive Hairspray! Game.Changed! Developed alongside leading Scandinavian pro hair stylists, it is a medium-hold hairspray with added Pro-Vitamin B5 which offers a flexible hold (which can be brushed through and reworked). I’ve found a little goes a long way so if you just need a little help with flyaway hairs, a light mist will do. Alternatively if you need a stronger hold, you can layer it up to achieve the results. A light spray on my styled hair leaves my hair with a healthy and natural shine and guess what?! No skin reaction!! None. Nada! Their Shampoo does contain SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) which many mistake for the harsh one, SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate). The difference being that SLS has beenidentified as a common skin irritant if left on skin for prolonged periods of time.SLES however whilst are derived from SLS go through a process which reorganises the compound making it much kinder to the skin and hair. My Verdict of Olsson

For years I’ve suffered with sensitive and problematic skin and with that comes issues. Using normal everyday products and cosmetics often means reactions, irritation and general hypersensitivity. Despite looking, I’m yet to find a good allergy friendly haircare range… until now!
