The Be Real Game Online maintains the focus of the original version on career and life/work roles being managed and experienced in a safe environment with the support of a Facilitator – Careers Adviser, teacher or mentor. Oral Communication: Speech is the fastest, most direct and often the most persuasive form of communication. It is the primary method for workers to exchange thoughts and information. Encourage your students to be in on the discussion and learn to articulate their ideas verbally. Some facilitators like to have "themes of the week." If for example, you will be playing The Real Game over several weeks, you could have a different theme each week. Week 1 might be the High Five principle "Follow Your Heart", Week 7 might be the Character Trait "Integrity", and so on. The theme of the week could be highlighted on a sign that students see as they enter the class. Use your own imagination in finding ways to bring these critical "soft skills" and attitudes into focus for students. The Real Game provides many opportunities to evaluate your players' progress, such as group projects and session activities. A Performance Review is included later in this Introduction. Use it or design your own to gauge changes in attitudes, behaviours, attendance, etc., and to measure acquisition of new knowledge or skills. Each session includes performance indicators correlated to learning objectives so you can evaluate players' progress.

The Be Real Game, first introduced in Australia in 2002, has been updated and is now available in full digital form online, designed for face-to-face or remote delivery using meeting software such as Microsoft Teams and ZOOM. About

Students assume roles and explore aspects of adult life. Students establish a local economy and place essential services and businesses in their neighbourhoods, which join to form a town. Students learn about the concept of a global economy when they seek extra workers from outside the town. Units are divided into sessions, each with key instructional elements: Overview, Time, Learning Objectives, Performance Indicators, Materials, Preparation, a step-by-step guide to Activities, Personal Reflection, Discussion Points and Suggested Speakers. Most sessions include Optional Activities.

Integrity: Behave in an ethical and honourable manner even when no one else is around. Be genuine, so your actions match your words. Focus on the Journey:Life is a journey. Identifying your goals and purpose gives direction. However, people who are too fixed on a destination can miss the doors of opportunity, relationships, situations and possibilities that present themselves along the way. Become a good traveller on the journey of life.

If you have, for example, 30 students playing The Real Game, you could simply assign roles from cluster A and cluster B. Alternatively, you could select 30 role profiles you feel are highly representative of your community from any of the four clusterss. You could use different clusters each time you facilitate, to keep the program fresh for you. Students enjoy playing the game more than once if they experience a different role each time. As well as live coverage of the events, each episode will feature the celebrities’ preparation, their gruelling training programme leading up to the competition as they aim to reach their peak physical condition. Students investigate a range of work clusters and career gateways. They go through a sequence of tasks, exploring education, life/work experiences and essential skills necessary for today’s world.

Throughout The Be Real Game Online there is a focus on the development of Digital Literacy Skills and Transferable Skills. Roblox is the ultimate virtual universe that lets you create, share experiences with friends, and be anything you can imagine. It's not 100% clear if the above method is too much but I've completed it this way and seen a streamer do the same.Session times are suggestions. The program is flexible so you can take into account students' personalities, home situations, and relevant events and issues in your community. The program encourages as much parent/guardian involvement as possible. The game is divided into four units: Making a Living, Quality of Life, Changes and Choices, and The Personal Journey. Each unit is a stage of the journey, and builds on the previous stage.

The Be Real Game Online is currently being trialled by a group of Careers Advisers and teachers from NSW schools, after they participated in a 5-hour training workshop using Microsoft Teams. Over 30,000 educational and training institutions and community agencies in every North American state, province and territory are using The Real Game and Career Cruising. The ccEngage suite enables a “whole community approach” to career and workforce development, with all students, teachers, parents, job seekers, employers and community agencies using the same tools to harmonize and optimize their efforts to help youth and adults develop informed career dreams and meet those who can help them achieve their dreams. You have the choice of playing by yourself against computers, which can help you learn the card, improve and sharpen your Mah Jongg skills, or just enjoy playing anytime, anywhere. You can also play with friends and family anywhere in the world, and meet new players in our very friendly online community. All you need is an Internet or data connection. You also have the choice of three different speeds so that you can play at whatever pace you are most comfortable with. The central element of The Real Game is role playing. Each student plays an adult character in one of a wide cross-section of contemporary work roles that span most industry sectors in Canada. Roles are generally assigned arbitrarily. Students gain valuable and lasting insights about themselves and adult life as they play their role over a number of days, weeks, or months. Through online and print materials, class discussion, active and reflective activities, research, interviewing and dialogue with fellow players, facilitators, family and community members, students learn about adult life. They also learn that what they do, or don't do, now will impact their future. To simplify adult complexities, each character is single. Fairness: Be sensitive to the needs of others. Include them and value their uniqueness. Celebrate diversity. Treat people with dignity and consideration, as you would like to be treated. Gather enough information to make decisions that are just.

There are some differences. Squid Game: The Challenge introduces psychological “tests” in which players can eliminate each other (I suppose the night-time murder sprees featured in the drama are hard to replicate) and there are a few new games, including a novel take on Battleship. The five game levels in the Real Game series are based on the The High Five Principles of Career Development.
