About this deal

At the bachelorette party for Trina, Lara Jean gets drunk for the first time and breaks up with Peter because she didn't think long distance would work. When he asks her if she only wanted to sleep with him to neatly wrap up their relationship, she says yes. Peter is deeply hurt, and when Lara Jean sobers up she is devastated. Trina urges Lara Jean to reconsider and at her father's wedding, Lara Jean spots Peter and decides to approach him. She tells him that she loves him and she wants to continue their relationship, to which he agrees. She also tells him she didn't mean what she said about neatly wrapping up their relationship by sleeping together; she wanted to do it because she genuinely loves him.

Everyone is very sad. They tell each other the good things about Fox. They share stories about how wise, clever, and kind he was. Leah is kept out of most of the story and she's very unsubtle when she does appear. In the meantime, we follow the lives of three other women, whose paths eventually cross, and who seem to have no idea of the transparent, obvious and well-meaning motives of Leah's. One day all of this will be proof, proof that we were here, proof that we loved each other. It’s the guarantee that no matter what happens to us in the future, this time was ours. When”

If someone ever asks me what this trilogy about the only answer that will encompass this marvelous journey is Love. Love comes in many forms, I don't just mean the love interests I mean the family and the friends and everything that comes along with these life changing bonds. These relationships are the ones that shape our personality, they made us who we are today and those relationships are never to be underestimated. I don't understand something. Is life in America so perfect? Do they all do these things for each other, is everything so extravagant? Because the entire other world is working differently. I swear, throughout this whole series my eyes ware rolling so hard. Their lives just seemed so damn perfect, I wanted to punch myself. Like??? ??? You know what I mean. I was jealous of their little circle and all the nice shit they did for each other, and their amazing childhood and everything! Just SHUT UP! LIFE IS NOT LIKE THIS! Aside from that, I love how the story centers about adjustment to changes . As the time flies by, changes are inevitable and sometimes, not everything is in our favor. Lara Jean makes out the best of her Senior Year High School with her boyfriend. They'll go together in the same college near home as planned. Everything is organized until she received her acceptance letter that makes her think laying out a new plan. She's still the goody-two shoes Lara Jean but she has a great character development in this book. She's more confident, flexible and welcoming to new options. Kudos to the Covey family for having a strong bond, to Ms. Rothschild who made the Covey household livelier and to Kitty Song Covey (my favorite Song sister) who's forever witty and funny. My favourite part about this book is the ending, where they’re sat amongst the foxgloves, enjoying Otter’s pie with Fox’s grave nearby. The film ends with Lara Jean's reflection on wanting what she has with Peter, regardless of what films say and what stereotypes say about long-distance relationships. She remains optimistic that the distance will offer them the opportunity to keep writing love letters to one another.I think this is a perfect book for introducing young children to the concept of death. It explains the concept very nicely, walks the children through the feeling of mourning and then explains how to remember the happy times with the deceased. I also very much enjoyed the college talk in this book. For some reason, I feel many YA novels either take place before college is a concern, or else the conversation is omitted for “more entertaining plot points.” I found Lara Jean’s struggle with debating between colleges, coping with rejection, and finding the balance between her life at home and her life away at college to be one of the best portrayals of this time in a teen’s life that I’ve ever read. Though I never personally experienced any large bumps in my pre-college journey or can relate to the difficulty in deciding to go away for school, I feel this book is genuine and authentic in expressing an obstacle many high school students face.

READ MORE: To All the Boys 2 fans are calling out the Netflix movie for being "nothing like the book" By the way: which 11-year-old girl has seen the DiCaprio Romeo and Juliet movie a bazillion times and loves it?) I also want to note that even if Kavinsky's visit with Genevieve had nothing to do with cheating, it didn't seem like he considered Lara Jean's feelings. Even if it had something to do with his ex's secret, his priority was still with his ex. I still can't get past this. All I'm saying is never settle for less. And the character of Kitty (Lara Jean’s younger sister) is the great love of my life. I am mourning her, as I knew I would mourn her. Janel Parrish as Margot, Lara Jean's mature and responsible older sister who goes to college in ScotlandTrezzo Mahoro as Lucas, Lara Jean's gay and amiable friend as well as one of her former love-interests

Then there's Mel, the hot-shot career woman trying to juggle motherhood and a career while battling tremendous guilt over neglecting her children. Mel's character and her life initially represented all my hopes and greatest fears for the future. I think at some point every women realises that she can't have it all, but many of us spend most of our lives trying so hard to ignore that fact or to prove it wrong that by the time we decide to stop fighting it and adapt to life's circumstances by striking a compromise, we realise just how much of valuable time and energy was lost in the battle. I was really glad to see everything work out for Mel, but could see how easily Mel's life could have taken the route of Caroline's if her husband hadn't been as understanding and supportive of her decision to give up her career to stay at home with the children. Brueggemann, Tom (February 23, 2021). " 'Monster Hunter' and 'Greenland' Lead VOD Charts, While 'Croods 2' Remains Unstoppable". IndieWire . Retrieved February 24, 2021. Music makes everything more romantic, doesn't it? One second you're walking your dog in the suburbs, and then you put on Adele, and it's like you're in a movie and you've just had your heart brutally broken.” I read this book as part of an RE lesson and thought it was excellent and really thought provoking.

This is a very good book to introduce children to coping with loss and also could be a good introduction to the subject of death. There are large pictures which would make it very easy to tell a class and show them the pictures. There are four main characters an otter, a mole, a fox and a hare. They are great friends but unfortunately one day the fox dies. They are all very sad until the squirrel, a friend, comes along and reminds everyone of all the fun times they had with the fox. they all share memories and begin the cope with the loss of the fox.
