About this deal

Personal Reflection: I personally enjoyed reading this book because I remember reading this book as a child and connecting with the character as in she’s not afraid to try something she’s passionate about and when she does, she is dedicated to it and it ultimately helps her become more motivated and more focused in her own daily life. I was also able to reconnect with this story now as a college student and see the themes in a whole new light. A 300-year-old oak tree has meant a lot to Angelina and her friends. When Priscilla Pinkpaw breaks her left arm from falling out of the tree, Mrs. Pinkpaws insists that the tree has to be removed forever. In response, Angelina and her friends attempt to save it, but by the last minute, the tree collapses by itself before becoming a wooden playground. Theme: The overall theme of this book is to follow one’s passion and allow for personal creativity to become a part of a child’s life. Because, ultimately it can allow them to truly express themselves and their passions in life. It can also give them new motivation in their daily lives. Angelina Ballerina is here to dance her way in the hearts of a whole new generation. Initially published in 1983, this beloved storybook is redesigned and ready to relaunch its classic tales throughout the next year. Little Simon is excited to bring this treasured classic to a whole new generation of readers. SD Entertainment and HIT Entertainment produced a new CGI series called Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps which ran from September 5, 2009 to November 13, 2010. [4] The series is about Angelina going to a performing arts school. The series was criticized by fans of the original for the redesign or removal of several characters including the setting and format, among other things. [5]
