These variant impedances serve different purposes according to the users’ needs. COOLER: Arctic LiquidFreezer II 280 STORAGE: G.SKILL Phoenix FTL 240GB SSD, Crucial MX500 1TB SSD, Toshiba 2TB HDD, Seagate 4TB HDD Having tested and evaluated numerous DACs, we can confidently say that standalone DACs have the potential to prevent static or interference, resulting in cleaner and superior audio. A top-notch standalone DAC can significantly enhance audio quality in comparison to built-in DAC amps found in computers or phones. Furthermore, most high-quality standalone DAC amps support the full frequency range of your headphones, unlike basic built-in DAC amps. In this article, we discuss how to choose a DAC amplifier for the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO (250 ohms) headphones. Through our experience with audio equipment, including various DAC amplifiers, we have gained a deep understanding of the key features to consider when selecting the best amplifier for the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO (250 ohms) headphones. We examined compatibility, audio quality, and other critical factors as part of our research. This allowed us to confidently recommend specific models of DAC amplifiers for use with these headphones.

Regardless, I went with 80 ohm ones and these headphones are kind of a benchmark for every day use headphones for me. Now, I am no audiophile, but I can tell a good pair of cans from bad ones - and these ones do justice on all fronts. With an impedance range of 32 ohms to 300 ohms, it offers a frequency response of 20 Hz to 80,000 Hz, providing clear and detailed sound.Listen to your music in comfort. beyerdynamic have gone to great lengths to make sure the DT770’s are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The velour ear cups surround your ears, bringing you closer to the audio drivers. Find out how to choose the best DAC amplifier for the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO (250 ohms) headphones and learn about its impedance, sound pressure level, and frequency response to determine if you need a DAC amp. Practical single-sided cable (3.0m coiled cable). headphone frequency response- 5 - 35. 000 Hz. Transmission type-wired. Nominal sound pressure level- 96 dB Typical for a dynamic headphone from the nineties, the driver will distort once it goes into high excursion due to low frequency content or high SPL. This distortion dips below 1% only at around 105 Hz (when measured at high output levels), and throughout all of this, a nasty 3rd harmonic is very present from 60 Hz to 100 Hz so, when doing anything low-end critical, be careful as this is also present without calibration applied! How accurate and consistent is the correction effect among different listeners?

It has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and supports audio quality of up to 24-Bit / 96 kHz. I'd suggest getting both the 80-Ohm and the 250-Ohm version and compare them side by side - as long as you are getting these headphones for a decent piece of audio equipment. If you are getting them for an iPhone (not sure why you would), then maybe you should go with the lowest-impedence version.

What's super important here, however, is comfort. These are intended to earn a spot in your home listening space, which means that being able to wear the headphones for extended periods of time is incredibly important. The corresponding models of both product families PRO and Edition are hardly distinguishable in terms of sound, as long as they have the same impedance (e.g. DT 880 Edition / 250 Ohm and DT 880 PRO / 250 Ohm sound the same). On top of that the comfort and the overall mechanical design was increased and a removable XLR cable was added that can be swapped out depending on what you’re doing. +Which ist the best headphone for mixing and mastering?

The PRO range contains classic world-renowned studio headphones that are great for producing, mixing, mastering and other studio tasks. But you really do need to use a high-quality amplifier or audio interface to get the most out of these headphones. If you think you will listen to these loudly - what you can do about it is use software (or hardware) to alter the EQ of whatever you are running these on. I use them on my laptop (behind a DAC/Amp) and for those of you who are using them on a computer, you may be very interested in a free software called Equalizer APO along with the Peace plugin. It will give you a 13 band EQ where you can set the changes wherever and however you want. The most useful feature of this software is you can overlay the picture of the frequency response graph on top of the graph of the changes you are making. When done this way, you can achieve a highly accurate and complete correction of the colorization (see photo). Do note that if you do this, to not apply as much correction as you get closer to the high end because of the way the headphones behave with volume changes - you will want to only correct about 2/3 to 1/2 as much to give some room for these changes. For mixing and mastering in the studio, open headphones are often used because of the better spatial representation. Our portfolio includes the DT 880 PRO, the DT 990 PRO, the DT 900 PRO X and the DT 1990 PRO.Headphone fits comfortably on your head, does not cause sweating thanks to soft velvet pillows and does not wring your ears. Now, are they comfortable to wear? To me, they are a little too tight. Are they worse than the Bose QC35 when it comes to comfort? Maybe Bose QC35 are a little more comfortable. But, when it comes to the sound, OMG. There is no comparison.
